Thank you Melissa for making us feel welcome at Rivery Coffeehouse & Desserts! As newcomers to Georgetown we appreciate the hospitality, the great service and the gluten free treats.
Service is phenomenal and their Afternoon Tea is priced decently $39/pp. I have been to Afternoon tea in Dallas at Adolphus and their food on their afternoon tea is much better than the one in Adolphus. They have a lot of tea choices and you can have any tea you wanted.
Great environment…apple croissant, cinnamon muffin. Normally, I stay away if labeled ‘healthy’… but the harvest muffin was absolutely delicious-imagine warm carrot cake (minus icing). Wanted an almond croissant… but they were working on the second batch-sold out in 30 minutes. That tells you something! Melissa is warm, welcoming to all who came in-super friendly. Come give them a try!

Rivery Coffee & Bagels is a cute and cozy spot with a welcoming, clean atmosphere adorned with teapots. The coffee receives mixed reviews, described as amazing, great, and mediocre, while drinks like the iced Masala Chai, café au lait, cappuccino, and strawberry Italian soda are praised. The food offerings are small but yummy, featuring delicious, fresh bagels, flavorful sandwiches, and to die for pastries including delectable macrons and flaky French pastries. Specific favorites are the Maple Sunrise breakfast sandwich on a French Toast bagel and the lunch menu bagel combinations. The staff is friendly and pleasant, and the pricing is fair.
