Local favorite here, great food as always. 1 breakfast taco and 2 cups of coffee makes the day! Don't be shy, step in and find a table for dine in with waitresses on hand, or order to go at the counter. Friendly and family owned business that loves thier community and pass through guests alike.

Cardenas is a hidden gem that offers a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant boasts a warm, small-town cafe atmosphere with fast and friendly service. The food is excellent, especially their delicious Mexican dishes that are as good as those found in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. The restaurant's simple, clean, and comfortable setting provides a cozy ambiance. While the dining experience can be a bit unconventional, with locals closely observing newcomers, the food more than compensates for the slightly uncomfortable atmosphere.
