“Very good home style Mexican food restaurant. We stopped while passing through town based on reviews. We are glad we did. The tortillas are amazing! The enchiladas and quesadillas were also very good. I highly recommend a stop if you're in the area!“
“Conveniently located in downtown Giddings. The service was quick and friendly. They have a good variety of flavored margaritas and an extensive food menu. We tried a variety of items including, fajitas, quesadillas, beef stuffed avocado, and other items. I have had better fajitas but the other items were good. The free chips came with a tasty red salsa and a salsa verde. It is definitely worth a shot if your close by“
“Looking for some authentic Mexican food, try this little food truck/trailer - street tacos served with limes, cilantro, fresh raw and grilled onions! Be sure to get both types of salsa, so good! The staff there are proud of their food and it shows. All y'all driving through Giddings on your way to somewhere else be sure to pop over, it's literally 2 blocks off the main road through town!“
“So, my job has ordered breakfast from this place a couple times. It's been pretty decent food every time they order breakfast burritos. So I got a hankering for that good tasting combination breakfast burrito, so I popped in. It took nearly 15 minutes to get 3 combination burritos in a brown paper bag paid for and in my hand. The food is as good as you would expect it to be.The restaurant experience can only be described as this: being in Jr High School and walking into the cafeteria during a lunch time you don't normally eat in. Every one looking up from their food and staring at you walking in the door. And if the locals eating at the tables didn't notice you open the door of the converted trailer coming in, they sure will when that door closes. Immensely uncomfortable for those of us who don't like attention. I don't like people staring at me. I prefer to be on the fringes of attention and move in silence, anonymously doing what I do in the background. You walk in that door those locals are looking. But the food more than compensates for the awkward atmosphere. Even the staff seemed a little unwelcoming. It was a purely cultural experience and I'm rambling because I'm trying to convey an experience without saying it the way I really want to relate my experience. Sometimes people allow their cultural norms to overlap in their public business environment. There, I said it.“
“I’m from Refugio Texas and have eaten at more Mexican food restaurants than I’d like to admit and the only place that has ever impressed me as much as the valley’s restaurants is this place. And the prices are unbeatable. A small quac is massive and only $7! Everything we got was delicious even my toddlers French fries lol. They were seasoned well and extra crispy. I got a chicken plate with mushrooms and sauce and it was so much food. Their homemade tamales are superb and their rice - oh man it’s by far some of the best ever and I’m used to red colored rice and I was worried when this was red in color but it wasn’t lacking flavor at all. We were just passing through but if ever again this will be our stop. Service was excellent and pretty fast considering it was Saturday night and they were busy.“
“We made an error in a big order and on the same day that we were supposed to pick it up, they we able to adjust the order and offered refund even though the fault was ours. I have never experienced great customer service in a long time. The order was for our Christmas party and the food was fresh and delicious! Our family will be going back for more!“
“This was my first time to visit this restaurant. I went with my daughter , son in law & 3 grandchildren. I loved the quesadillas I had & I happened to notice everyone finished everything on their plate , even the 2 year old ! Small & cozy & the service is excellent“
“Stopped in at Noon on Thursday. There was a small line about 6 in front of us but it moved quickly. We ordered 5 things to share and everything was fresh and delicious, the brisket in green salsa and the bacon egg and cheese were the favorites. All three salsa were district and flavorful. I was happy to see they still had the breakfast options at noon. $36 to feed family of four and we all left full. Bathroom looked fairly recently redone and was clean. No fountain drinks but several drink options in the cooler. They do take cash and card.“
