“I can't explain how happy I am that we finally have Chicken Express in Gilmer. It was slowly being built over the last year, and now it's here. Great chicken, always fresh, great customer service. The fish is also excellent here, very big pieces of fish. They have the best sides, fried pickles, fried okra, corn nuggets, poppers, and fries. it's all good. I need to go up there now after making this review. I'm hungry.... lol“

“The employees were super nice and very helpful. The Internet ordering system and their phone system went down so I couldn't online order for pickup so I had to actually go inside. First time I've ever been inside. Looked really nice and clean inside. Haven't been in a pizza hut with a buffet in many years. Will definitely have to come back and check out that buffet.“

“I can’t say exactly how many times we have been to Sonic here in Gilmer. Anthony was our carhop tonight and he is best we have ever had! When he came to the truck he read our entire order in detail back to us and no one else has done that yet! It used to be a regular thing, but not anymore. As we were leaving he ran out to us (as he was taking another order out) to make sure he gave us straws. Sadly, we didn’t have any cash tonight, but next time we will definitely be giving him a tip. “Went through the drive thru today for lunch. They were short handed and clearly backed up. However the young lady at the window was apologetic and truly a sweet soul. For the people who are trying to hold down jobs good for you, and thank you for your great service today, I didn’t even mind the wait!“

“Dining room is clean and well kept. Staff are fully engaged in providing excellent customer service, well coordinated working together in a positive team attitude. Food was better than other Whataburger stores in that it was not dripping grease.

“Ordered my sandwich online and paid extra for 50% more meat on my turkey and ham sandwich. Not only did it not have 50% more meat, it was completely missing the ham on the sandwich. Apparently whoever made the sandwich that day couldnt read a ticket.

I was later reached put to by the owner and the problem was solved in a professional manner. I greatly appreciate them reaching out and solving this issue. I will have no problem and continue to buy from here.“
