Me and my daughter visited September 19th around 8-8:30 there were two young girls working that night if your able to go back and see on the schedule but from the minute we walked in the one young jumped into action and was so welcoming! Temperatures are now at Record highs above 105 And Store 596 of a 1604 West in San Antonio hasn’t had AC since May and we’re only supplied with portable units. The store is completely unbearable, but I commend the staff that was working diligently to prepare food in this building come on Whataburger these are your employees that give many hours to you. They should at least work in bearable work conditions. Please address this situation. Get it fixed“

“I have to give props to this place. I doordash the food all the time but have never ordered for myself. Today, that changed. I decided it was time to try the hype. The chicken was fresh, hot and crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. The fries weren’t soggy and had a slight outer crunch with an inner softness. The cane sauce wasn’t nearly what i expected, but in a good way. To me it had a similar taste to pepperoni pizza(of which i don’t care for), but it had an interesting flavor that I actually enjoyed. In all, I give it 5 stars because of the quality of the food, the fast service every time I come in for doordash, the friendliness and the quick welcoming acknowledgment after walking in.“

“I came on 11/8/24 around 6:00pm and it was a line of 4 people in front of me. There were 2 younger guys working (1 seemed new) and the line behind me was starting to grow.

I appreciate the 1 worker stopping to ask while continuing to make sandwiches how everyone's day is going; and he paused at a different point to apologize about the wait. I also noticed that although swamped, they didn't rush the customer in front and that they continued to take the glove off when dealing with money then getting new glove to continue making sandwiches. I didn't leave until 6:30.

I commend how they handled the rush and I made sure to tell them before leaving i appreciated the professionalism (and also left a $5 tip).“

They do have pick up availability through DoorDash I think. Meaning place your order through DoorDash but can opt in to pick it up yourself. They have a decent size dining room and rest rooms and drive through as well. You can dine in or do take out also.“
