“We were taking the long way home after visiting family in Waco on Christmas. Instead of dropping straight south on the Interstate we decided to explore the country West of Waco before turning south toward our home on the coast. Not sure we had ever heard of Goldthwaite before but that is where it looked like we were going to be around lunch time so we depended on Tripadvisor for a recommendation. Cahoots was highly rated and Tripadvisor has never let us down so after a couple of false turns we found the place. It is attached to a service station and convenience store not exactly the place one would expect superior food. Glad we found it because the hamburgers and fries were as good as it gets. Would highly recommend. A little crowded at lunch but we staked out a table almost immediately. Great place and greater food.“
