Carolina Garcia was the best server! From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel genuinely welcome. She was attentive without being overbearing, kept our drinks refilled, checked in at all the right times, and made sure every detail of our dining experience was perfect. Carolina was knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, and handled everything with professionalism and a positive attitude. What really stood out was how kind, patient, and energetic she was throughout our entire visit. It’s rare to come across service this exceptional, and she truly went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. If you have the chance to be served by Carolina Garcia, you’re in for outstanding service. She is an absolute asset to the restaurant, and we’ll definitely be coming back because of her!

‘Twas my first time at Garcia’s Cantina and Grill. I came with my partner, Jonathan, who is an avid connoisseur of the menu and has been an exceptional employee here for quite some time (plug well deserved, honestly). We were warmly seated by Nancy. Rachel served us this evening; she was friendly, and the service was rather quick!

The chips were good; the salsa was tasty but not spicy (I was hoping it would have more of a kick to it). We then went ahead and ordered nachos with beans, cheese and guacamole to satisfy our tastebuds. We followed with a few rounds of mango margeritas rimmed with sugar which were delicious.

As for the main meal, we had perfectly cooked fajitas which were exquisite. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lively, with authentic Christmas decorations such as a Christmas tree from San Miguel (see image).

Overall, it was a great experience. As you can imagine, the experience is only as good as who you’re with, and I was blessed to have shared this meal with him.

update: I have been back multiple times since, and of course, the food and service have always been exquisite❤️‍🔥

Garcia’s is the absolute best Mexican food that Granbury has to offer. When I’m in town to see my in laws I won’t let them take me anywhere else. Being from Laredo, authentic Mexican food that tastes like my grandma made it is important to me and Garcia’s hits the mark every single time. The rice, the beans, salsa, enchiladas, everything always tastes the way it should and the way I expect it to be. The service can’t be beat and everyone is always so friendly.

Edgar was amazing! The owner not so much. We had a large party of service industry workers coming in at multiple times, which was said upon arrival. While our party kept coming in, in separate groups, everyone was showed to the table rudely, not offered menus, and not given any chips and salsa, nothing. Edgar was the only one giving us his time and attention.
After spending over $500 in the restaurant, the owner rudely came over and addressed the group upon our reviews that were left. Very unprofessional.
While trying to discuss the issues, she rudely kept interrupting me and speaking over me.
Let’s just say the last thing that was said was “okay well we won’t be coming in” and she responded with “GREAT!”
So thank you VERY much for a wonderful birthday celebration. We will never be coming back.

Michelle was our waitress and our service was OUTSTANDING!!! The food is the best Mexican food around! Everyone needs to try their Queso Fundido with Chorizo!! You’ll not regret it!!
