Hub on 51 is a cute, out of the way coffee, food, and mini golf spot with a cute mermaid, pirate, and nautical theme. The staff are very kind, informative, friendly, and welcoming. The atmosphere is great, friendly, and inviting. The outside area has a little stage area that looks like they host a variety of events from birthday parties to live music. There are several booths outside that look like they are salvaged from an old Long John Silver's.
Hub on 51 offers a variety of activities to keep kids entertained, such as put-put, a sand box, bean bag toss, and board games. They also have activities throughout the week, including chess club, Friday movie nights with dinner, and Disney night with pin trading. The co-op classes for homeschooled children are fantastic. The owners are true gems and incredibly hardworking.
The coffee at Hub on 51 is wonderful, with many creative and delicious options. They also have plenty of snacks and food items for children. The Black Pearl blended coffee is stellar. The place has a fabulous selection of curriculum and other texts for homeschooling families. The pirate vibe is so fun, designed to look like an extension of Disney parks. It is the perfect place to hang out with a cup of coffee and has a large game selection to enjoy with friends. Hub on 51 is 100% kid/family oriented and a shiny spot for families.
