Shaw’s Southwest Grille offers a dining experience with solid, well-made food and attentive service. The food is fabulous, and the drinks are spectacular. Standout items include the buffalo chicken sandwich, described as the best ever, and a well-made cheeseburger with a soft, lightly toasted bun, a juicy patty with a nice sear, and cheese properly melted into the meat. Other popular meals include potato skins, chicken fried steak with awesome mashed potatoes, and the ultimate grilled cheese with fries, which was delicious. The restaurant can be loud during the dinner rush, but the patio offers a delightful area to eat. Servers like Aaron and Autumn receive praise; Aaron was a great server on Cinco De Mayo, while Autumn was friendly, super attentive, and took excellent care of guests, keeping drinks filled the whole time. The food is solid, a good step in the right direction for Granbury. Nothing fancy, just done right. Many guests say they will definitely return.
