“Figured I'd have a light meal and go with the Nachos. Not a chance, plate was huge and delicious and I simply opted for the seasoned ground beef. I unapologetically indulged! “Stopped by after my trip to Lowes grocery store. Ordered 3 Carne guisada tacos. I have to say the flour tortillas are awesome. The tacos tasted excellent. The beef was tender and flavorful. Plus it's super affordable. It was like 9 dollars for everything. If you're inTaft stop here for a quick bite to eat. You're going to love it. Plus its very clean, and cool. Temperature wise. And the staff is super friendly. A+ Service.“

Next time we ordered take out.... in Spanish for carry out over the phone. Surprise Surprise the food was great. “Been coming to this place since I was a teenager. I like coming to this place because I see the same faces for over 20 years. I'm 38 years old now and this is some of the best food here in Corpus. It's a small place but that's great food. Great people working there as well. I grew up down the street so this is my go-to place. I live on the south side but always drive over here just for the tacos in the morning for breakfast“

“The day before I visited I saw this restaurant on my way to Padre Is. I googled the restaurant n menu to check it out. I liked what I saw on their website so I decided to visit for breakfast the next day considering they are close to the hotel where I was staying. Restaurant is clean n the decor is pleasant. Staff seems nice n welcoming. Waitress came over right away to take our order. I had the carne guisada/eggs n my husband had barbacoa/eggs. Both plates were excellent. Portions are generous n it took about 10mins for our food to be served. The flour tortillas are big n delicious. Coffee was good too. The food plates I saw being served looked very well put together. We definitely enjoyed our breakfast time. Upon getting ready to leave I asked the waitress for the very same plate of carne guisada to go. When she brought it, I was glad I checked it cause it was a whole different plate from what I had ordered. I told her n she went back to get the correct plate. Again she brought out the to go plate n again I checked it n again it was wrong. I had asked for scrambled eggs n it had fried eggs instead. Seeing that for some reason she couldn’t get it right, I called for the mgr. Although she was courteous, she seemed bothered that I was complaining about my order. She corrected my order n brought my bill. I then see I was being charged a higher price n alerted her to it n again she seemed more bothered I called it to her attention. Were it not for this incident (mistakes happen), our experience would’ve been 5 stars. I could tell I had made a good choice in picking this restaurant after all. It’s good affordable mexican food.“

Two eggs, beans, potatoes, your choice of meat, Mexican white cheese and slices of avocado 🥑. Now get this, are you sitting down? All for $5.99 you heard right $5.99!! They also have other Breakfast and lunch specials that won't break your wallet. At the end of your meal, you'll get some free cookies. The staff is very friendly.“

“The staff is so friendly. The food is great. I am not a fan of Mexican food this is the only place that I will eat at. I love the Mexiburger. The pastor and carnitias are very good. my niece loves their French toast. All the kids like the pancakes. when we take the little ones there they eat almost all their food. Sunday mornings they are packed. I love this place. My wife stops most mornings for her breakfast taco. When I walk in they are on the way to my table with my tea and limes.“

Parking: Parking is close around the restaurant, easier to walk close to the door of the restaurant and it has handicapped ramp there, very convenient for customers.

Kid-friendliness: Kids with families are great and they enjoy being there for their food.

Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp for handicapped to get closer to the door, but don't have automatic door openers. You have to open the doors for them.“

“It’s a bit of a Love hate so far. Their Masa is great it has really good flavor the size and meat inside is a problem. Coming from Cali I’m used too some Red chili being inside the Tamale maybe my batch missed it IDK. Okay so if you eat the Tamale with the Salsa supplied with your meal it’s pretty good I’m just not used to eating it that way I think what makes this tamale is the Masa. If there was no salsa the review probably would had not been good. It’s worth a try though. I will come back to. Taste the Jalapeño tamale.“

“Very good dinner. I had fajita chicken chimichanga, husband had fried shrimp, kids had chicken fajitas and cheese quesadilla. Everything was really good. Chicken was perfect and I love the rice. Everyone was friendly and helpful. You seat yourself and soda drinks are in a can, so it's pretty laid back and informal. Will definitely go back.“

“The drive thru was long so I decided I would go inside to order as there were not many cars in the lot. I'm not a fan of kiosk ordering. Didn’t care for it at McDonald's either. I hope Whataburger never follows this business model mistake!Other than that, it's Taco Bell...either you like the food or you don't. It's a chain, so the food is fairly consistent, and since I was there, you can count me among the one that like their food, at least once in a while.“
