“This for me is the absolute best Tex-Mex restaurant I have ever had. The beans are incredible and they have homemade tortillas. I've eaten Mexican, Tex-Mex all over Texas, California, New Mexico & other states. Even in cities. Besides my grandmother's cooking, this is the BEST. When I say I want Mexican food, this is exactly what I mean. I have to DoorDash every day cause I work out of town. And this is the best I've had. Can't give enough praise! It's delicious!!!!“

“Don’t let the humble exterior appearance of the place deceive you; the food here is good, you receive exceptional service from the staff, and the atmosphere is just welcoming. Climate inside is in the low 70s, just comfortable, and the place is very clean. This place starts getting packed after 11am. @memerios1020“

“I go there for the flour tortillas that are not quite round they sell them a lot less. While you are there pick up some corn tortillas both are very good and they are right there making them. There is a drive thru window but I like to go inside to see everything.“

“Zero complaints I ordered machacado con huevo a la mexicana and the meat was plenty, portion was big- made 2 tacos and still had some left! Coffee hot and good (black) potatoes cooked perfect. Tortillas approvable (Charlie brown). I’m full at the time of this picture… ?“

“I have been buy tamales from this place for 3 plus years now. I drive from San Antonio just to get these tamales. The selection and quality are the best. They are not all masa like everywhere else. Their friendly customer service is matched by none. Thank You for a great tamale.“

“very unhealthy the kitchen door to the outside was open flies were everywhere staff was not helpful at all every time I tried to get somebody's attention they were on their cell phones... when I went up to pay the system was down and I had to wait 15 minutes before it came back on again and why do they have a business if they can't even keep customers I walked in there I just figured it was just a time of day from what I understand from others nobody goes there because of the unhealthy conditions and the food is gross I only ordered one taco and that's all I needed to never go back again“

“One of the best Tex Mex in Corpus. Always consistent. Love the homemade tortillas. The staff is so friendly and kind. My favorite is the migas plate and add the green salsa on the side. Carne guisada tacos with cheese also very good. Will always come back.“

I’ve been in retail and customer service for 30 years and I was blown away with the brief yet excellent interaction and customer service he provided.
