“Driving in from Houston to Brownsville Texas we always wanted to stop by at Agave Jalisco in Odem, TX but we were always hesitant with small town restaurants. I can say our first time experience was 5 stars. They bring out a red salsa that for me was tasty but not hot. But let me tell you the real hot sauces you have to ask. The green creamy and the red creamy habanero compliment perfectly with out hot food. Nothing was cold. Oh and if you like draft beer, this is the place, hey bring out a big colf pilsner. Big TV's at the bar to watch football. Totally recommend. We will be stopping again. The service was exceptional. Only one server but our food was out like in 10 minutes.“

“I have been buy tamales from this place for 3 plus years now. I drive from San Antonio just to get these tamales. The selection and quality are the best. They are not all masa like everywhere else. Their friendly customer service is matched by none. Thank You for a great tamale.“

“I go there for the flour tortillas that are not quite round they sell them a lot less. While you are there pick up some corn tortillas both are very good and they are right there making them. There is a drive thru window but I like to go inside to see everything.“

“Zero complaints I ordered machacado con huevo a la mexicana and the meat was plenty, portion was big- made 2 tacos and still had some left! Coffee hot and good (black) potatoes cooked perfect. Tortillas approvable (Charlie brown). I’m full at the time of this picture… ?“

“Breakfast was good. I enjoyed the chips with beans/salsa. The biscuits and gravy were a tad disappointing due to tasting like restaurant supply food. My friend enjoyed her eggs, bacon, and toast. I will definitely return due to the service and the other good choices for breakfast.“

“very unhealthy the kitchen door to the outside was open flies were everywhere staff was not helpful at all every time I tried to get somebody's attention they were on their cell phones... when I went up to pay the system was down and I had to wait 15 minutes before it came back on again and why do they have a business if they can't even keep customers I walked in there I just figured it was just a time of day from what I understand from others nobody goes there because of the unhealthy conditions and the food is gross I only ordered one taco and that's all I needed to never go back again“

“Comfortable atmosphere staff treats you like family i.e. personable, friendly, and approachable. I have eaten there several times now and will go again.

Parking: It could be difficult to find a spot depending on the time of day. Smaller lot given location but easy to find parking Mon-Thurs. after 6 pm from personal experience“

“Amazing first time experience, we intend to come back to actually eat inside the restaurant. We had our food to go and it was an extremely long line but they had out food and drinks out in under 10 minutes and it was definitely worth the wait.

“So our Cashier was Ebin M, and I’m pretty sure he was the friendliest, most respectful human being I’ve ever met. Everytime we come to this location and he’s in the drive through, my wife and I always talk about how it was such a great experience. He stated he’s in college for accounting and we are praying that he graduates with honors! I’ve never been too big of a fan of Taco Bell if I’m being honest, but I’ll keep coming to this one for the customer service that Ebin provides!“
