“Outside of the building is plane but when you get inside is another word. The front desk and table service are amazing. Yes, it is a buffet, but they check in to see if everything is ok or if you need assistance. The food was delicious. There are so many different types of foods to choose from. You named. The place is clean and sparkling restrooms.“

“I have gone to Sun Wok for 10+ years now. The lady who works there is so nice and friendly. She knows my order when I call, without me saying anything. She asks about all of my family every time I go in. She is constantly giving complimentary food too if she has a new item on the menu. I love her. I love the food. I've never gotten sick from the food there over all of these years. My family loves this place. I'd give her 100 stars if I could.“

“This is by far the best Chinese food we have in the area. Seems like the most authentic as well. Every time I’ve been the food is fresh out the fryer! Got to wait a minute to eat it how fresh it is! If you haven’t tried it you’re missing out!!! Absolutely love this place“

“Food: Tried the Jalapeño fish. Great portion for the price. Crispy and delicious. Fried rice was good. Steak and broccoli not out of this world.

Service: Staff was nice. There was a line to order and the wait was not that bad since you can peruse around the Latin market too while you wait. Calling in to order might not work since they are so busy. I tried 4-5 times no answer. Found they just let it ring while they make the orders made in person.

Atmosphere: It’s literally a hole in the wall of a Latin market. Not the best waiting area either. No dine-in option. Take out only.

Overall: great food overall. I will come back to try out the other options they have on the menu. I think this place could grow to something bigger if they get another place to expand.“

“The best Chinese food, I've moved away and I make it a point to stop by everytime I'm even remotely close.

The salt and pepper wings are 10/10. The lo mein is an honorable mention. As far as Chinese takeout goes they are top tier for sure.

If you walk in yes it's a hole in the wall, yes it's humid, and no you shouldn't eat in the restraunt, it's Chinese >take out<. When you see that old man making that food you know it's gonna be bomb.“

“This place is drive thru only. The food is made fresh! You can expect to wait 5-10 minutes, but so worth it! I feed a family of 4 for about $30.00. An entree comes with fried rice, eggroll, and sweet and sour chicken for $9.99! An order of 6 crab puffs is only $4.95. A 32ounce cup of soup is $2.99. The crab puffs always taste fresh! You can tell the oil is changed out. Let's talk about the sweet lady at the drive thru window....she is so friendly. Sweet and ensures your food is properly packaged for the ride home. If you go, try the C8 house lo mein. The chicken pieces are big as well as the shrimp. You will not be disappointed!“

“I grew up going to the original location in Port Arthur. I was excited to see they had a location in Houston, Texas. I love the salt and pepper, wings and fish. I always come here when I’m catering a party because their packages are cheap fast and delicious. I hope they continue to expand some more locations in the Houston area. It always feels like a taste of home when I eat here. Also the salt pepper turkey around Thanksgiving has become a staple in my family.“

“Mr Lee is great! Sometimes I drop off my clothes and let them wash and fold but sometimes I will stay and do the clothes myself. Always happy with the service they provide. Ignore the low reviews. They run a tight ship here. Don’t come in with rowdy kids cause he will call you out.“
