10 Best Vietnamese Restaurants near Groves

“Been eating here for YEARS ! some of the best fried seafood around ! Totally disappointed today. I called in an order 4:10 pm. They told me order would be ready in 15 minutes. I got there at 4:50 to pickup my food and go. They had not even started cooking my order....so what is the point of calling in an order ? FYI...they were NOT busy at all. I stood there another 20 minutes while they cooked my order. Then I noticed they charged me 1.00 more on EACH of the items I ordered than was priced on menu board IN the restaurant? I questioned the young man worker register and counter and he said " I dunno...only my 2nd day here." i said well u just cant charge more than advertised menu price ? He acted like he didn't care. THEN I get home and the TWO orders of garlic shrimp noodles i order have like 4 little shrimp in each. VERY disappointed. I am not one to usually gripe & all about supporting g the few restaurants we have in Groves...but yall gotta do WAY better than this !! Not sure IF I will be going back anytime soon.“

“Mama Kim’s in Nederland absolutely lived up to the hype and made a fantastic first impression. The food was incredibly fresh, the service was genuinely top notch, and the atmosphere was welcoming from the moment we walked in. This was our first visit, we made the drive specifically because they’re opening a new location in Lumberton soon and we wanted to see what everyone was talking about. It was worth the trip—every dish tasted freshly made, came out hot, and was full of flavor, and the staff checked on us often without ever feeling overbearing. Overall, Mama Kim’s delivered exactly what we were hoping for and more, and it makes us even more excited to have a location coming to Lumberton. We’ll definitely be back.“

“What did we do when our sinuses starting draining and hurting our throats from this yucky weather? We went to Phố Tàu bay !! We loveeee this place, they have some of our favorite spring rolls and pho 😍😍 if you’ve never been you’re missing out! Sweet staff as well! Food is always fresh and hot!“
