Shorthorn Cafe Reviews
Joey and Stacy are AMAZING! They got this place up and running during the flooding for Imelda. They fed the rescue workers and the town when there was nothing else available even though they were flooding too. The food is always hot and fresh. The restaurant is very clean. We eat there several times a week and they deliver!
Very good, homestyle food prepared by friendly ladies. I had fried fish, onion rings, and a Blue Bell ice cream malt. ALL very good!! I will definitely be back next time I'm near.
The quality of the service is something you can't find back in the city. We walked in looking for breakfast, and although it was around the time breakfast was over, the owner Joey, went out of his way to cook anything we ordered. The food was delicious, and the place was clean. If we ever find ourselves back in Winnie, we'll make sure to come back.
