Black Bear Diner Harker Heights is a gem near Killeen, perfect for breakfast or lunch. The menu features a wide selection of dishes with generous portions at a good price. The service is friendly, with staff members like Marcus providing excellent care. Marcus greets customers with a big smile and a positive attitude, making everyone feel like family. He is known for being kind and patient, especially with young children, which is a huge plus for families dining out. The food is consistently good, with popular recommendations including French toast, bacon, and scrambled eggs with cheese. Customers have noted the impressive size of the biscuits, and while there have been minor issues like cold butter for pancakes and a breakfast sandwich mishap, the overall experience remains positive. The atmosphere can be loud and busy, but it has become a comfort place for many visiting the Killeen/Harker Heights area, where delicious food awaits.
