Papa's Cafe Reviews
We are frequent diners to Papas. The place just received a make over and staff changes. 100% turnaround and we love it!
BUT
Our last visit has us hesitant on returning. First, I get it.. people love their dogs.
BUT
IMO... dogs have no place in a public restaurant. While service dogs have their place in society, random Scooby doesnt have to come with you to breakfast.
Case in point ... dog #1 hand held and paws on the table fed by same fork the customer was using....read full review
Over 50 minutes to cook food and serve a salad. Never refilled drinks. Had liver and onions with only 1/4 of an onion (at best) that was not cooked with the liver. Liver was tough. Forgot to bring part of the order and never got it. Very expensive to eat over $30.00 for this. Have worked in the food service industry over 25 years and this place needs help and leadership.

Papa's Cafe is a wonderful place to eat, known for its amazing gravy and biscuits, as well as its terrific down-home meals. The service is consistently helpful, nice, and responsive, with a great music selection. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the restaurant is clean. Breakfast is good, and the cafe opens early, making it a great spot for a morning meal. While some dishes, like the Chicken Fried Steak, may be small in portion, other menu items, like the fried catfish and the cinnamon roll, are big hits. Sometimes, it can get a bit crowded during breakfast, but seats are usually available quickly. Overall, Papa's Cafe is a fantastic spot for a delightful dining experience, with excellent food at extremely good prices. It is also located next to a park, ideal for a stroll after a meal.
