My husband had spaghetti with marinara and Italian sausage, with generous portions and a homemade-tasting sauce. “04/22/2025: Joe’s has been around for years and is a pretty decent Italian American food in the Mesquite/Sunnyvale area. The place does need a thorough interior refresh. It is really dated, dark and showing lots of wear and tear. My family and I only get food to go. Service is okay as well.“

“First time here and wanted to try it out. The pizza taste great and reminds me a little of pizza back home with the great tasting handmade crust. I like how the Italian sausage is crumbled and not big pieces. The wings were good too. I believe the older short guy with glasses who took my order and made it was the owner. He even greeted me and my fiance when we came in. Not too many ppl greet you nowadays nor do they speak on your way out. This is a family owned place but it could use some cleaning and slight remodeling. I felt bad because I feel like he may not have anyone to help in that area. I did not like that the price for the pizza on the menu didn't quite match what was on the board. $15 for a Large 3 topping that looks more like a medium. I also did not like how Abraham's customer service was when I tried to call back 20 minutes after we got home and ate to speak to the owner and tell him how much we enjoyed the pizza and wings. He was rude, rushy, unprofessional. He did not care about nothing I said, he was just rushing me to place an order when that was not what I called for. He said the owner left but I don't think the owner left because we literally was just there. I really hope that the guy wasn't really the owner the whole time. This place has potential though.“

“I have always been a fan of Bankhead, but have not been in a while. My children and I went yesterday for Mother’s Day and our ticket was accidentally lost. The staff went above and beyond to make it up to us with some delicious appetizers while they finished up our orders. Mistakes happen, but we definitely will be visiting again soon.“

Great first-time experience at Palio’s Pizza in Royse City!

Located in the Walmart parking lot across from Murphy’s gas station, this spot is clean, cool (AC was on!), and had delicious, fresh, gourmet food—we enjoyed everything we ordered.

A couple of helpful notes for first-timers:
• The front entrance can be confusing. Like others, we went to the left door by mistake—the right has a short wall and the door looks like part of the nail salon. A standalone “Welcome” sign with arrow could help new customers find the right entrance more easily.
• The bathrooms were clean, but the women’s restroom door didn’t lock—not a huge issue but something to consider fixing, especially for parents with kids.

This location is more of a “order at the counter, then sit or take it to go” setup, so it’s helpful to know what you want before walking in to avoid slowing down the line.

Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be back—next time we’ll come in a little more “pro” about it. 😉“

“we went to this location on Town East today for the first time in a few years... a few years ago when we were at this location the pizza was terrible, dry with hardly any toppings on it and there wasn't a large selection... today the pizza was great, I asked for a special pizza and it was promptly made... there were a lot of people there so pizzas were coming out hot and fresh, will dine at this location again...“

The guy asked me if I wanted my card ran again I said no b/c I don't have Bank on my phone and I could not check. So I had to go home check my account take a picture and go back. When I got my pizza and went home I was so tired I only wanted to eat one piece. It taste so wonderful that I ate more. I told my husband it was Well worth the second trip. It was not their fault cyber space gets crazy. And they did ask for my permission before they ran it a second time. Which they did not. Kudos for this service, and the wonderful Pizza. I put in the instructions that we had crazy dogs so please just leave the pizzas on the porch and we would grab them. When we picked it up, it was wrong, but the staff, including Justin (that is the only name I heard) were so professional and concerned because obviously this was a mistake of whoever took the order. “The manager David made our experience one of the best our family has ever had at any children’s entertainment place. We came in just to check it out, and David personally gave us a tour of the entire place, explained how all the games and play area works, and walked us through the menu and ordering process. We got the kids a simple 30 minute play card, recommend by David, and they had so much fun. While the kids played, David talked to us about the birthday party packages and showed us how the party tables were set up and how the ticket blaster works. I am so happy with our experience and loved how attentive and knowledgeable David was. I can’t wait to bring the kids back and I will be requesting David as our party host in December!“
