“The food truck comes to our neighborhood every so often on Friday evening and we enjoy being able to have family dinner at the neighborhood center. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has gone downhill over the course of the year we have lived here. Tonight, I ordered the loaded Pulled Pork potato....the potato is just cut in half (not fluffed up) with pork and shredded cheese thrown in the middle. The potato is a brown/tan color and it is not even cooked completely- meaning I can not eat it. The entire thing is Luke warm at best....What a giant disappointment and a waste of $12. My kids got the nachos and they also were a disappointment . I really hope they get someone to work the truck that actually takes pride in the food they are serving.”

“I stumbled upon Cuarto de Kilo Burgers thanks to searching the nearby HEB Plus on Google Maps, and I am so happy I did..! The staff and owners were so awesome and hospitable when I took on and won the Bestia Challenge this past Sunday, as I was in town to see my hometown Sacramento Republic FC, visiting from Kilgore, TX. You choose two of their burgers, which are 1/4 kilogram (more than 1/2 pound) each, for a total of 1/2 a kilo (more than a pound!) ; I chose both of mine as the Bestia Burger, with their Bestia sauce added.. The burgers had a flavour and kick that I had not experienced in a burger before, you can taste the love and spirit of Guadalajara in each bite! Normally, you don't tie Mexico and burgers together, but this was an exquisite symphony of the two! The next time you're in San Antonio, pay the nearby town of Helotes a visit, and if you dare take on the Bestia Challenge, don't plan on eating anything for a couple days afterward with all that food you're taking on!”

“Our first time there and the experience was wonderful. It started with great service, by Rebecka. We chatted with some customers seated at the next table, who shared their secrets. Come before six pm and get the pizza rolls as appetizers. We came with the intent to get pizza but ended up getting some shrimp dishes, spaghetti and meatballs, plus chicken parm. All the dishes were great. This is our new favotite Italian restaurant.”

“This is one of our favorite spots/bar to hangout at. The place is chill and the atmosphere is real good. They have a good DJ that mixes those tunes and incorporates some of the 90's and 2000's hits. I usually order the Mexican Fruit Cup Pitcher and it never disappoints, it's tasty and the flavors are well thought out. Sometime Tamale Boy comes in selling their awesome tamales that pairs well with the libations...... Definitely a great spot to celebrate or unwind. No restaurant food, mostly snacks.”

Burger and sandwich were both juicy and fresh. Sweet potato fries were wonderful.

“I just had my book release for Wine in a Million here last night and it was a blast! Ms. Sonia and Mr. Eric were a delight to work with. They're personable, helpful, and made sure the night was a success. The pizza was delicious and the wine crisp! Can't wait to go there again! If you're looking for a place to hold an outside event, the shared courtyard worked perfectly for us! We had the ability to use the tiki hut for my book display and signing, and there was electricity where I could hook up my microphones on the small deck they have out there.

(All our friend told us the food was great) So we decided to try it out selves! We asked if they were open because they were squeeging water out the from door. The lady at the register ( I’m going to assume the manager she had blocked hair, and the only one at the register) She looked at my husband & I and said I can sit you outside ( it was HOT) because I have a plumber here. My husband & I looked at eachother & said no we don’t want to sit out side, proceeded to leave. We decided to order drive through, and eat in the car no big deal right??? No big deal we wanted to try their food. WRONG!!!!!! ONE THING I WILL NEVER EVER PU T UP WITH IS SOMEONE BEING A RACIST MF……. (We were the only Interacial couple there) can we say DISCRIMINATION & Racism MUCH!!!! There was all kinds of people dining inside of one ethnicity ( catch what I’m saying) Why when we left where there all kinds of people inside at the tables, and as we drove off, she just looked at me 🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼 Now that chicken sandwich was fire 🔥 WE MOST DEFINITELY WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN”
