“Busted Sandal Beer Garden in the Helotes Old Town shops area has great atmosphere with indoor seating in air conditioning and outdoor seating at picnic tables and many other tables scattered around the grounds. The beer is excellent, they tap new ones all the time. Yesterday Sunday the 16th of October they had three new ones on tap two ipas and a pumpkin Porter, have to say all three were excellent. Hector working the tap behind the bar is friendly and well informed about the beers. Check the place out you'll enjoy it!“

“I’ve always had a great experience at this spot, but the other night(Saturday 3/30) I messed up and forgot to mention my wife’s allergy to banana on my initial order. I came back around and the employee that evening went above and beyond to make sure the Miami vice was done again to ensure not cross contamination. “We came to San Antonio to visit family and they took us out on a quiet Monday. We had the pleasure of Sean as our server, he was very attentive and informed us of the chef’s suggestion for the day. We took forever to look at the menu because we couldn’t stop eating the bread. For the antipasti, we ordered the bruschetta, calamari and the stacked eggplant. Bruschetta was ohhh so good, simply seasoned and perfectly crunchy. The stacked eggplant was my favorite, beautifully cooked, cheesy and I could have eaten that as my entree and stopped there (I’m picky so I can’t tell you about the calamari)I’m already full but then the Caesar salad comes out. I ate half and tapped out when the lemon pepper chicken (no spaghetti, sub mashed potatoes) and green peas came out. Sean kindly boxed my plate for me.We got back to Dallas and heated up the lemon pepper chicken and OH MY GOODNESS! “I went with a party last night and we had a great time. The Old Fashion is one of the best I've had in a long time. They had one of my favorite Padron cigars available to pair with the Old Fashion. “The staff here saved my partner’s birthday dinner after another restaurant told us they could not take a reservation as large as ours. Outback was able to take a pretty last minute reservation for 14 people with only like five hours notice. They put us in a separate area from the rest of the restaurant so we didn’t have to shout over each other to talk. The waitress was amazing. She was very attentive and she had to deal with several separate checks. She was friendly and charismatic. Food was good, about what you’d expect for the price which is better lately than can be said at most sit in restaurants of similar price range.“

Ambient music mostly rap.During my visits to order I had to go to the bar and order with the bartender who gives them to you and you take them to your colleagues. Apparently they don't have waiter service.You can sit around the bar if you wish, but on weekends the place is packed.It is a small space and has some high tables. “The weather was beautiful yesterday so we wanted to enjoy a beverage on a patio and they have a ton of outdoor seating. Our waitress was so friendly and attentive. They have an extensive beer menu so we got a couple flights and a couple pints of various IPAs. We also ordered the carne asada fries to munch on and they were very good (I ate them until I was stuffed!). Flying Saucer is so consistently awesome so we’ll be back.“

“Thank you to my fellow Houston elites your reviews! That's how we settled on this place. I was a little hesitant when we pulled up, it's located on the end of a shady looking strip mall type thing. We walked in and right away you know the owner is a hip hop lover. Especially the homage to MF DOOM. I don't drink beer, but that's why most come here probably. The menu looked super enticing too. I ordered the bacon Mac and cheese for the table. It was beyond salty, but I love salt. Idk if it's usually that salty, it was a bit much. The mushroom burger was good and the fries were the bomb. I love crispy fries. The Astros game was on for baseball lovers like me! Go 'Stros. Our waiter was super friendly. Just a good all round vibe going on. Bar seating, high tops and a regular tables. Also seating outside. All types of patrons. Folks there for the game, couples, families. You name it. When in the area, I'd definitely hit up again!“

“What a fantastic place. The buffet area is well planned out with lots of room between all the steam tables. Many varieties of seafood, chicken and beef to choose from. All of the entrees that I sampled had very good seasonings and flavor. Staff was constantly replenishing the food and making sure the steam tables were clean. The wait staff we had was unbelievable. He was always walking around his station emptying tables, refilling drinks and making sure we had everything we needed. Families with children were seated in another area so other diners were not disturbed. Would definitely come back here again.“

“I'm not much of a country fan but I went to this cool bar that played mostly country music. It was really nice and the atmosphere was super chill. The do mixed up the music a little after midnight and there was a live band playing in between sets. Prices for beer wasn't so bad either. Good bar to go to if you are a huge country dancer for sure.“

“Our favorite bowling alley in San Antonio.Prices are very reasonable, staff is friendly and always willing to help and accommodate when they can. I reserved a lane for my son and his friends and noticed that where they planned on putting us was very crowded, especially for 6 preteen boys. I asked if we could be moved, I was expecting a very hard no considering how packed it was starting to get, but the staff was able to accommodate us by giving us a lane on the end so that the boys had more room. Thanks you Oak Hills staff for always coming in clutch. The boys had a great time! Can’t recommend this place enough.“

Also there is no try to sit your food on. Other than that i like it.Update:2/25/24. Today was family day. From 12pm-5pm. Movies, drinks, alcohol beverages, popcorn, snacks, etc.were all 5 bucks today. It was pretty packed today. Only complaint i have is that our seats were dirty as if the staff never cleaned it before the next showing. I had to let someone know and they did cone and clean them. The menu has a good selection of appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, wings (bone-in, boneless, and tenders), pizzas, salads, even a kids menu.
