“Food is usually good. Service is usually good. Atmosphere is good other than the fact we are always seated in an area that has no tv's. Even during football games. It seems the employees save a certain area for themselves for break times. (the front room with two tv's). For context, I've dined in around 10 times. Always after 5pm. Like I said, everything is usually good. But yesterday was a huge disappointment and a waste of $20. I ordered the Nacho Supreme. Not only was it inedible, but it tasted horrible. They didn't use nacho cheese, instead melted shredded cheese on top of tortilla chips. I assume via microwave. Guess what happens to shredded cheese when cooled? It formed a hard cheese helmet over chips. How does one navigate this? Let alone eat it. On top of this nacho debacle, was a layer of shredded lettuce. Sorry, did I order a taco salad? I had to move the lettuce over to see the tortilla chips, under the cheese helmet. Also, if I was to reheat this mess to remelt the cheese, how will the lettuce hold up? Not so good I assume. I'm not trying to be a Karen. But I do have a tendency to compare what I spend, to how many hours of work it takes to pay for it. And the nacho supreme not only took $20 from me, but also my time. I won't be going back to Jefe's anytime soon.“
