“Awesome Times is just a really great place to get a simple quality meal with no fuss. Their burgers and sandwiches are great. Their bowls are delicious. The bar has lots of great drinks. They have hosted the Marcus Varsity Baseball team for team dinners several times and given the booster club a good deal. They were a great place for parents to come after we defeated Southlake in the playoffs. Awesome Times has catered my son’s graduation party. Awesome Times consistently makes great food and delivers excellent service. My family goes there at least a couple times a month and we plan to continue.”

“The staff at Great American Cookies (1400 Shoal Creek #110) delivered delicious cookies and turned a lost bet into pure comedy gold! My brother Mitch sashayed in, looking like a Cookie Fairy. A bearded man decked out in a frilly pink tutu, a flamboyant feather boa, and tights! They had him prancing across the street like a giddy flamingo, twirling with exaggerated flair, striking absurd poses, and even curtseying with a flourish!

Mitch threw himself into the silliness, pointing his toes with dainty precision and strutting with a sway that left us all wondering if he was secretly loving his bearded ballerina gig a little too much—way too comfortable in that embarrassing getup! The staff roared with laughter over his spot-on toe point, eagerly asking if he’d return again, and posting those hilarious pics online to flaunt their fun-loving store spirit.

And let’s not forget the actual cookies, because they’re the reason we’d come back again. These treats are next-level: soft, gooey, and baked fresh on the spot. Everything was packaged beautifully, stayed fresh for the delivery Mitch had to make (still in that tutu, bless him), and tasted like heaven. Prices are great, and the store’s spotless, with the staff’s infectious humor keeping the vibe pure sugary fun. Five stars for the amazing treats and for helping with our pink princess!

“Grimaldi's got its start in Brooklyn before spreading out around the country, including a handful of branches around Dallas. We recently dined at their this place at The Shops in Highland Village. This branch offers a large indoor seating area as well as a bar and is open from 11am until 10 or 11pm daily. They have a fairly typical menu of starter salads along with their signature thin-crust, coal-fired brick over pizzas which we found to be generally good during on the evening. Shared a couple of different varieties with custom topping choices, one of the pizzas crust was perfect, the other fairly soggy but overall it tasted good. Salad served up with our meal was similarly decent, nothing amazing nor bad - just decent salad. We thought the large pizzas made for good family-friendly and casual meal out with friends.”

“Went for the first time for my birthday with my family. The food was so good! The chef at the hibachi was very funny and interactive. The other staff were friendly and everyone seemed happy to be there. We called to make a reservation so we would be guaranteed the hibachi experience. They also have a table dine in area that is very nice looking and next time we come we are going to sit there. Their prices are around what you would expect for hibachi and good sushi. We had a great time! We will be going back 100%!!!”
