“We love this restaurant. It’s been a Highlands staple for longer than I’ve been around. Portion sizes are awesome Carla and her crew are wonderful. Dad eats there quite often and don’t sleep on the fish special. The fish nuggets are amazing and the perfect way to enjoy this type of fish. :)“

“I highly recommend this Café. I ordered to go as I’m leaving state after breakfast, but the girl that helped me carry my drinks out was super sweet. Not being from Texas I was curious about everything on the land and she was very informative (I should’ve gotten her name). I ordered the Sycamore 2s which was 2 pancakes (choice of 1/2 waffle or 2 slices French toast), 2 eggs, and 2 pieces of bacon (choice of sausage also). I got my son an order of French toast, and a friend the brunch burger. Everything was AMAZING. The server mentioned Mondays they have a mimosa special (she told me exactly but I forget it). I like over medium eggs and this is the first place I’ve been that’s gotten my eggs PERFECT the first time around. It’s an adorable little café and there’s a wedding venue in the back. I highly recommend trying their food if you haven’t before. I took photos but it won’t let me add them to my review.“

The burger is massive, CRINKLE CUT FRIES (the best!!), and a Pay It Forward Wall. ♥️ THIS is true Christianity…feeding people without question, just because they’re hungry. Teresa is a gem and it’s worth the drive down by the bridge. Absolutely delicious and the burger is MASSIVE. $43 for two burger & fries meals, two bottled drinks, and an extra cheeseburger/fries to Pay It Forward for someone who needs it. “Have to visit the farm only like a mile or so away! Incredible experience, and the food at the restaurant was just as good! Order the auga frescas all fresh made to order. Huge variety I get the cucumber and limonada. Can also add pineapple for three flavors super fire!“

“OUR ORDER WAS WRONG! If you read that please keep reading. We didn't receive part of our order and instead of calling DoorDash and asking for a refund, after trying the food we did receive, we decided we wanted our complete order because EVERYTHING was so good. we asked for them to just bring us our fries that we were missing and instead the manager said if you come get it we well just replace everything and I am one happy customer to get to eat them AMAZING food tomorrow! Its a little on the higher end for our eating out budget but it is WORTH EVERY PENNY!“

“Shawnee and Mirabel are two of the best servers they have. They both help each other with orders to ensure your food is always to you correctly and piping hot. They are fives in my book. I've been ordering pumpkin loaded pancakes for 3 months. No matter which one makes them they are always awesome.“

“Armaan was our waiter. This young man was amazing!!! He was very good to us and attentive to what we needed. The bacon cheeseburger skillet plate was chefs kiss amazing! The spinach dip appetizer was not so great but that’s ok. The vibe was quiet. It was around 5pm so it was nice to be able to have nice conversation and enjoy my meal. “Arrived a lil before noon on a Friday. Greeted immediately and placed my ordered of two meats with two sides. The turkey was delicious and I really like the jalapeño sausage. I want to go back and try the pork and brisket. Hub had Mac and cheese and Cole slaw. Slaw was good and the Mac was super cheesy. Green beans could have been cooked a lil longer. Pinot beans were good. Even liked their bbq sauce. Only rating a four as I didn’t get to try everything yet.“

“Me and my SO stopped here coming from Kemah headed back to Beaumont. The food was fresh and hot. The burgers are huge and seasoned perfectly. Chicken strips should be called chicken patties, lol. they were huge. The owner was nice and accommodating. Highly recommend. I visited the one on Hwy 146.“

Now I will warn you its always busy and that says a lot for this waffle house. I visit when im in Baytown and enjoy the area..“

“All around fantastic experience. I was very surprised. This was the first time I've ever eaten at a restaurant associated with a golf course. I am not a golfer. The food was top-notch, and the service was fast and friendly. My diet Pepsi glass was always full. A business associate brought me here. I would have never found the place on my own. The dining room was clean, wide open with plenty of space, and provided a beautiful view of a golf course.“

The wings are AMAZING, Jordan had me try the cheesesteak pizza and I’m a fan of that as well. Jordan is an awesome bartender, super attentive, and always great conversation. Tamara is another favorite of mine there.“

“We held my husband’s birthday here at TO 3 last weekend and the staff was so accommodating for a large group of 20. Our waitress Kathy was so sweet and so tentative. Our whole group had a really good time and enjoyed the food. They also had clear walls up and heaters around the patio so you could still enjoy the outside views. 10/10 👌“

“Love the rejuvenated Luby’s! The classic rock / 80’s music was fantastic and so much better than before. Some newer food items were much appreciated as well, like the smothered pork chops. Way better than Cracker Barrel’s version. The place is much brighter and I was told they are making more updates. Also, the people behind the food counter were courteous and just happy. Very different from the drab place it used to be before.“

“There is no doubt that the kolache recipes are absolutely amazing and keep everyone coming back. However the reviews that mention that they don’t warm up the kolaches, or even offer to warm them, are true. This has always been disappointing to me. They got my order wrong this morning, but normally they always get my order correct and have decent coffee. Have a good morning ☀️“

“So me and my husband chose Cheddar's today for our lunch date. We had a great time and the food was pretty decent. However our server was a bit overwhelmed I think. We didn't get a bowl for ketchup, asked for extra napkins and never received those. My husband didn't get his bacon for his baked potato, but the time the waitress remembered he was almost done with his meal. When I mentioned my raspberry sweet tea was too sweet, and I'd like an unsweetened tea with lemon, that never came. I kept receiving unsweetened raspberry tea. However I had asked twice and wasn't going to ask a third time. We had quite a few wait times in between asking for things. I also got a to-go order which didn't take long. We may return to this location but I'm sure at this time.“
