“We love this restaurant. It’s been a Highlands staple for longer than I’ve been around. Portion sizes are awesome Carla and her crew are wonderful. Dad eats there quite often and don’t sleep on the fish special. The fish nuggets are amazing and the perfect way to enjoy this type of fish. :)“

“I highly recommend this Café. I ordered to go as I’m leaving state after breakfast, but the girl that helped me carry my drinks out was super sweet. Not being from Texas I was curious about everything on the land and she was very informative (I should’ve gotten her name). I ordered the Sycamore 2s which was 2 pancakes (choice of 1/2 waffle or 2 slices French toast), 2 eggs, and 2 pieces of bacon (choice of sausage also). I got my son an order of French toast, and a friend the brunch burger. Everything was AMAZING. The server mentioned Mondays they have a mimosa special (she told me exactly but I forget it). I like over medium eggs and this is the first place I’ve been that’s gotten my eggs PERFECT the first time around. It’s an adorable little café and there’s a wedding venue in the back. I highly recommend trying their food if you haven’t before. I took photos but it won’t let me add them to my review.“

“We used the Silver Sycamore to host our daughter’s baby shower. From the start we knew it was the right choice. Krista answered all our questions and went above and beyond making the decor pop for us. The catering staff is also so polite and welcoming. Highly recommended!“

The burger is massive, CRINKLE CUT FRIES (the best!!), and a Pay It Forward Wall. ♥️ THIS is true Christianity…feeding people without question, just because they’re hungry. Teresa is a gem and it’s worth the drive down by the bridge. Absolutely delicious and the burger is MASSIVE. $43 for two burger & fries meals, two bottled drinks, and an extra cheeseburger/fries to Pay It Forward for someone who needs it. “OUR ORDER WAS WRONG! If you read that please keep reading. We didn't receive part of our order and instead of calling DoorDash and asking for a refund, after trying the food we did receive, we decided we wanted our complete order because EVERYTHING was so good. we asked for them to just bring us our fries that we were missing and instead the manager said if you come get it we well just replace everything and I am one happy customer to get to eat them AMAZING food tomorrow! Its a little on the higher end for our eating out budget but it is WORTH EVERY PENNY!“

“Shawnee and Mirabel are two of the best servers they have. They both help each other with orders to ensure your food is always to you correctly and piping hot. They are fives in my book. I've been ordering pumpkin loaded pancakes for 3 months. No matter which one makes them they are always awesome.“

“My husband and I came to the Crosby location all the way from Hardin and we were extremely happy! Our waitress, Ashanti, was phenomenal! She was all over that restaurant taking care of her tables. She went above and beyond as an employee. She was so attentive and knowledgeable. We appreciated her so very much. The manager also came by and asked us how everything was. “I ordered 1 pound of moist cut brisket trimmed today my first time to visit. When I got home, I was very surprised at how small the slices were. The flavor was very good and the brisket, the baked beans are very good but loaded with sugar, very sweet Mixed with little small shavings of brisket which brought out the flavor, but still too much sugar. Also ordered the jalapeño sausage, which was great. But what shocked me the most was when I asked to look at a piece of pecan pie. They wanted five dollars for a very Small piece of pecan pie. That was not much bigger than a hostess Twinkie. I’m not joking Once went into a local store to do business, I asked them about the brisket house and they said it’s good but they were very expensive. That is very true. They are really very expensive. I was totally surprised at how small the slices of brisket were compared to other barbecue places in the vicinity, but overall the flavor was really good, but still it was very overpriced. The local People even said to me before I went there be prepared to pay a lot of money for what you get because they are highly expensive and I found this to be very true. The main reason that they do such a big volume of business is because they live very close to the local refineries and chemical plants and a lot of of companies employees go there to eat they pay for their meals and their supervisors usually pay for their meals because they get reimbursed so price means nothing to the Big companies but to the overall public people such as myself I could afford it but pricewise it still is very expensive. Very nice people very clean inside and out from what I could see you can’t see the kitchen compared to Rudy’s barbecue where you can see everything in league city But I live in Pasadena and by the time I drive to league city and back I would end up spending more money, but at Rudy’s they weigh their barbecue right in front of you at the register so you know how much you’re getting exactly to the pound, plus ounce Overall I guess it was pretty good. I’m stuffed right now and will probably sleep very good tonight. I will go there again, but it was a total joke that they were selling such small pieces of a pecan pie for five bucks a slice, which was equivalent as I mentioned earlier to a hostess Twinkie I’m not joking!“

“Me and my SO stopped here coming from Kemah headed back to Beaumont. The food was fresh and hot. The burgers are huge and seasoned perfectly. Chicken strips should be called chicken patties, lol. they were huge. The owner was nice and accommodating. Highly recommend. I visited the one on Hwy 146.“

I had the pleasure of meeting her personally today, and she gave me and my family the absolute best service. She even helped me carry our food outside since I had my kids with me ❤️ such a kind and thoughtful gesture that meant a lot. Stacy is truly amazing, and you can tell she genuinely cares about her customers and her team. The food is always made fresh, tastes great, and today was no exception. “This is a hit or miss and it falls on the cook. My last visit was really good. I ordered a 3 egg cheese omelet with a chicken melt. Server was great and this cook was really good. Now I will warn you its always busy and that says a lot for this waffle house. I visit when im in Baytown and enjoy the area..“

“All around fantastic experience. I was very surprised. This was the first time I've ever eaten at a restaurant associated with a golf course. I am not a golfer. The food was top-notch, and the service was fast and friendly. My diet Pepsi glass was always full. A business associate brought me here. I would have never found the place on my own. The dining room was clean, wide open with plenty of space, and provided a beautiful view of a golf course.“

The wings are AMAZING, Jordan had me try the cheesesteak pizza and I’m a fan of that as well. Jordan is an awesome bartender, super attentive, and always great conversation. Tamara is another favorite of mine there.“

“We held my husband’s birthday here at TO 3 last weekend and the staff was so accommodating for a large group of 20. Our waitress Kathy was so sweet and so tentative. Our whole group had a really good time and enjoyed the food. They also had clear walls up and heaters around the patio so you could still enjoy the outside views. 10/10 👌“

“Best kolaches in Texas. Shipley is rated a 6 but this place is a 10. You won't find softer, easier bread and it has a nice flavor to it kind of like Texas roadhouse butter sauce. Amazing place. I always laugh how center street has Shipleys wrapped around and if they just traveled 1 mile further they would get almost 2 times the quality. Morning kolaches is the best I have had“

“Love the rejuvenated Luby’s! The classic rock / 80’s music was fantastic and so much better than before. Some newer food items were much appreciated as well, like the smothered pork chops. Way better than Cracker Barrel’s version. The place is much brighter and I was told they are making more updates. Also, the people behind the food counter were courteous and just happy. Very different from the drab place it used to be before.“

“So me and my husband chose Cheddar's today for our lunch date. We had a great time and the food was pretty decent. However our server was a bit overwhelmed I think. We didn't get a bowl for ketchup, asked for extra napkins and never received those. My husband didn't get his bacon for his baked potato, but the time the waitress remembered he was almost done with his meal. When I mentioned my raspberry sweet tea was too sweet, and I'd like an unsweetened tea with lemon, that never came. I kept receiving unsweetened raspberry tea. However I had asked twice and wasn't going to ask a third time. We had quite a few wait times in between asking for things. I also got a to-go order which didn't take long. We may return to this location but I'm sure at this time.“
