We had a large takeout order. The food was packed with care and survived the ride home with no spilling. And to my surprise there were NO MISTAKES!! Everything was fresh and taste great. This is now my favorite spot to order takeout 🥡 We'll definitely return, maybe to dine in next time

The atmosphere is pretty I used to really love this place. The service is always good as well. I do feel like the sushi could be a bit fresher and I feel that the fried rice definitely lacks flavor and is greasyy(I don’t mind the grease. I’m only saying it for other people who are wondering)

THERE IS ALOT OF THINGS I WILL DO BUT THE ONE THING I WON'T DO IS HOLD YOU!!! If you live on the Eastside of Houston then you know good sushi is hard to come by amongst a list of other things. Today I ordered this place to go and LISTEB LINDA it was mucho delicious. I had the Linda Crunch roll and the Happt Sumo Roll. I smiled when I took my 1st bite. I will order again to ensure it was a one time thing but I definitely recommend those 2 rolls.

I ordered the Mongolian beef with fried rice, and it was delicious! The beef was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, and the fried rice was fresh and well-seasoned. I also had an order of egg rolls as an appetizer and a Long Island (alcoholic beverage) to drink. The staff was friendly, and my order was prepared quickly. I had a great experience and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!
The food was marvelous, I got sesame chicken with added vegetables. The hot and sour soup was the best I think I've ever had.

My son and I came here for the first time. We like the atmosphere of the place. The hostess showing to our seat had a bit of an attitude. The waitress was friendly but after bring our food she was never seen again. (took a long while to check if everything was ok) My son had to use the restroom. (8 yrs old) as we were so we got up and to the restroom. When we came back our table was cleared and the check was there waiting. I got upset I was done. I had only ate less than half of food. The waitress come around and ask are you ready to pay? I told her of what had happen. I told her if she talk to the manager or if the manager can come over. It wasn’t fair what happened. I got only got 20% off. Horrible experience!!! I don’t personally don’t recommend. We’re NEVER coming back.

I’ve been to many different Akashi Locations and I usually love going to them. The summerwood location was terrible. The sushi wasn’t made well and the fried shrimp we had tasted like old/bad cooking grease. Stay away from this location until they fix their grease problem.

We have a child with severe allergies and we’re discriminated against. We came with her food to have dinner. They would not allow us to sit down at a table and order during to having outside food. This is absolutely discrimination! You can not turn away a family who has a child with severe allergies allergies! We then asked to speak to the manager. She went back and came over to say the manger said allergies or not we are not welcome in with any outside food at all. The manager refused to even come over and speak with us. So very disappointed to be discriminated against. Further more our other daughter couldn’t understand why we could not stay and get sushi. So very very sad to have this type of experience where an establishment would discriminate against a special needs person.
