Badolina Bakery & Cafe is a charming coffee shop and bakery located in the heart of Rice Village. Known for its delicious bread, tasty pastries, and great coffee, it has become a favorite spot for many. The seeded sourdough bread and double chocolate croissant are particularly popular menu items. For heartier options, quiches are available. The bakery is praised for its baked goods, including the croissants and basque cheesecake, which customers find irresistible. The lively yet cozy atmosphere makes it a great place to enjoy a quick coffee and pastry or a more substantial meal.
The outdoor patio offers a European-cafe-like setting, perfect for relaxing on weekends, while the limited indoor seating is ideal for a quick breakfast or coffee break. Visitors often comment on the friendly staff and their welcoming smiles. Many recommend arriving early to avoid the crowds and enjoy a peaceful experience. Prices can add up quickly, but the delicious food and warm atmosphere make a visit worthwhile.
Customers especially love the unique cardamom buns, which are difficult to find in Texas and taste just like the ones from Europe. The bakery also offers a pistachio croissant with real pistachio filling, and everything is vegetarian. The aesthetic and cute patio add to its charm, making it a perfect spot for relaxing weekends.
