Been going here on and off for about 3 years. Good food but really inconsistent. Today the order was wrong on every level...ingredients weren't even right. chicken overdone and dried out. Chicken Pho shouldn't be this hard...

OMG Bodard has the BEST Chicken salad EVER. I'm on Keto and ask them to replace the noodles with lettuce and more vegetables. This is my treat after dieting for 2 weeks. I devour every morsel. They have an awesome menu and even have daily specials. This is the only place in the tunnel system I can get iced tea with limes. Their Bahn Mi is also very good. I have been coming here for a few years and I think its the most fresh and healthy choice in the Houston tunnel system. Their staff is always friendly and the have my order ready in usually 5 minutes. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

If I could give this place 0 stars I totally would. My co worker purchased food from this establishment during our lunch hour. Once we arrived back to the office, he found a cockroach in his food. See picture attached. He immediately went back, and was not offered an apology. He of course received a refund, but they continued to sell the soup where he found a cockroach in. They did not seem surprised or have any sense of urgency or sympathy. The experience left us in shock, and we want to make sure that everyone is aware to please be careful when purchasing food from this establishment. Please be careful! Double check your food!

Tried this place for lunch today. I got the rice plate with chicken. The food is below mediocre for a Vietnamese restaurant. The rice was mushy, the chicken was dry and flavorless. I tried to eat the whole plate bc I don't believe in wasting food, but couldn't make it through to the end. Ended up throwing the remaining half of the meal away. Why open a restaurant if you don't care about what your food tastes like?

Not the best Vietnamese food I have had, but definitely good. The 4 stars is based off of it being in the tunnels (kind of like comparing restaurants at the airport, you give them a little extra leeway) if it was out in the general public I would have gone 3 stars. They get the food out quick, food was good, and the menu is pretty large. Be warned, my friend has been coming here awhile and the bahn mi jalapenos are always more spicy than normal. If you have delicate stomach or think normal jalapenos are about all the spice you can take, you might 86 them or ask for them on the side. I thought they were great on my bahn mi. The wonton soup was pretty good and had several wontons (some places just give you one and somehow think that is enough). Spring rolls were average. The sitting area is not very large, so this is best to take to go.

This place really does have the best pho in the tunnel space . Great springs rolls as well and they have excellent customer service. I use an app to order because they usually have a line.

I had the vermicelli with pork and eggs. It was ok. It's prepared like fast food. Not what you'd get in a restaurant.

Located in a tunnel - easy to get to though! They have various options and vegetarian/tofu dumplings! First time trying the combo and it was actually filling! They don't have low sodium soy sauce but they do offer other typical ingredients like duck sauce and crushed red peppers in oil.

This review is for the TINY food court location in the Penzoil basement. I am working my way through the menu and have yet to find an item I did not enjoy. I can highly recommend the Wonton soup, which is not like the type served in most restaurants. These wontons are nice meat balls with a delicate noodle wrapper, served in a simple savory chicken broth. I've only had his type of soup in Singapore and love it. I also find their Hot and Sour Soup to be my light go-to lunch when I don't want a heavy meal. But my best recommendation is the Bodard Spring Rolls. Theses are not fried, and filled with pork, cucumber, and fried wonton/egg-roll skin for crunch. Light and refreshing. A definite nice twist on the usual vermicelli and shrimp version. The prices are a bargain and I never leave hungry. They are really busy at noon, so expect to wait a bit for your order, but I think it is well worth the wait time.

It's ok. I ordered the pork vermicelli bowl. Meat was dry. Fish sauce was a bit sweet. Authentic Viet restos use green leaf lettuce, sprouts, cucumber and herbs such as mint, cilantro. This place used iceberg. Can you at least add a little cucumber.

Danny has successfully brought a taste of Vietnam to Houston: Bodard Express is an quick and excellent alternative to Fuddruckers or Subway under 1100 Louisiana - vermicelli, Bahn Mi's, and egg rolls are all great. I often stop by early afternoon for a strong Vietnamese iced coffee (super strong).

Everything was great. Will be back.

I'm gonna have to update my rating. Ever since they started using the ordering app Ritual and got super busy, their portion sizes have gotten smaller and the quality has gone down. Not too impressed with their wonton soup or bodard rolls anymore. The wontons have shrunk into bitesize pieces and the recipes have changed. The rolls are thin, dry, and not filling. Pretty disappointing.

Almost everything I have got from here is AMAZING! Although the line can be long at times with one cashier, it doesn't bother me much. I am a big fan of their wonton and egg noodle soup. And their Banh mi sandwiches. They do have a kiosk where you can put your info in to pay ahead of time if you are a first time visit.
