Adair Downtown is a bright and airy restaurant located in the tunnels of Houston Downtown, with a nice ambiance and reasonably priced meals. The atmosphere is light and welcoming, with good service at lunchtime. The menu offers delicious dishes, including the French Dip with horseradish aioli, and the artichoke soup. The kitchen and staff are top-notch, and don't forget to save room for the excellent desserts, especially the flan. Additionally, the restaurant offers to-go coffees and specialty drinks made with high-quality beans.
The restaurant is a hidden gem in the tunnel beneath the Welles Fargo Plaza, and the food is excellent and at a very fair price. The General Manager Lena always makes sure the service and food is exceptional. The salad with salmon at lunch is a nice option, with a fair portion of well-prepared salmon, though the lettuce can be a bit wet. Overall, Adair Downtown is a good choice for a meal before a show in the theater district.
