At lunchtime, Adair Downtown gets full early and quickly. That's because the food is delicious and the service is outstanding. The kitchen, management, and waitstaff are top notch. Do yourself a favor and save room for dessert.Protip: they serve to-go coffees and cappucino/latte drinks as well. Skip the line at the larger corporate coffee shops nearby and treat yourself to a well made coffee made with beans that aren't overly roasted.
We decided to go in the downtown tunnels on Friday afternoon, and not get lost.. lol. So we entered the tunnels at the Wells Fargo building. After wandering around awhile, we decided to have a snack at Adair Kitchen. We sat at the bar, and all ordered the lemon ice box pie. I also ordered a lemon drop martini, which competed with my lemon dessert. Nice restaurant in the tunnels of Houston Downton. Can also be accessed from the street level. Bright and airy place with nice ambiance. Good reasonably priced meals and good service at lunch time. Looked like there was a take out area too.
