This was very strange. I usually have no issue at this location. I mostly order online and pickup my food. Tonight I came in to get my to go order and it wasn’t busy at all. I got here about 5-10 minutes early. No biggy. I was happy to wait and be on my phone. I got a text that my order was ready at 7:15. Went up to the cashier and she said oops that was an accident. So I said no problem and waited. It is now 7:37pm. I never got my food. Someone else came later and had a later pickup time because I asked him and he got his food. So I got refund at 7:33pm and left. I’m not going to get confrontational over fast food but I will take my money somewhere else. I don’t know what I did to not get my order. I wasn’t rude. You can look at the video recordings.

The steak quesadilla was pretty good. The tortilla was crispy, there was plenty of cheese and steak. However, it could have used some little portion cups of sour cream, pico de gallo, and salsa on the side to give extra flavor. I later found out that WAS supposed to come with it but we weren’t given any. Too bad we ordered in the drive thru and missed out on that after paying $14+ with tax on this quesadilla that was literally the same size as one from Taco Bell (although tasted way better of course, but still). I don’t think I’d feel good about paying $14 again for this, but $10-12 would be reasonable.

The chicken burrito would have been much better if it weren’t for the rice. I think it was brown rice and it tasted totally unseasoned and took away from the flavor of the burrito because there’s a lot of it inside so it neutralizes the surrounding flavors since it didn’t have any itself. Season your rice! Would have been helpful if they had actually given us sauce with it, but like with the quesadilla, we were shorted. And the burrito was $10+ with tax. I think $8 would be more appropriate.

Overall, the food was “fine” but was overpriced for what it was. The outside of the restaurant is cute, and we didn’t see what the inside was like. Service was obviously lacking based on all the missing items in the drive thru and the girl who took our order almost seemed like it was a bother for her to be working. But whatever. I just won’t be rushing back.

First time at Cabo Bob’s. I’m not a big fan of the make your own burrito, yes this includes that one competitor store too. I do like the idea of seeing the food before I order. Chips and Queso were great. The burritos will grow on me (my teenagers love them) but the service is what I’m amazed at. 4 of the 5 line workers were absolutely friendly and nice. One was having a bad day but that’s in. We are human and all have bad days. Cashier lady was super friendly and funny. Had a convo with a guy in the line that was entertaining and the vibes in the dining lobby were chill. Nice cute spot. Pure cane sugar sodas were amazing!!!

If you're ever in the mood for a burrito the size of your hand or even bigger, than Cabo Bob's is the way to go! There portions are amazing and worth the money you spend. The quality of the meats and ingredients is awesome and the customer service is typically very quick and courteous. I absolutely love the brisket they serve and the fresh butter tortillas they roll it in too! P.s. if you're a fan of root beer like me, then try that as well!
