“First visit—definitely not the last! The food was absolutely incredible! I ordered the jerk chicken, curry shrimp, and curry chicken. Every bite was bursting with authentic Caribbean flavor. The seasoning was just right — smoky, spicy, and full of depth.
The staff was so friendly and attentive — she made us feel welcomed and checked in just enough without hovering. You can tell they take pride in both the food and the service.

“I first went to this restaurant 2 weeks ago after being away for work over a month. I missed their grand opening which I was sad about because I’ve been waiting for them to open over a year. Fast forward…BABYYY let me tell you, the food is a hit! Big up to lady Sherece and her staff! I’ve had their J*** chicken, curried chicken, Rasta pasta, shrimp, beef Patties and beverages and I keep going back. I don’t eat meat so I haven’t had their oxtail or curried goat, but I’ve been told they’re great! The establishment is very clean. I’m a forever patron!“

“The food is PHENOMENAL and the portions are very generous. We were positively blown away with the quality and quantity of the food. Most definitely worth every penny. We got the chicken stew and the jerk chicken. Not pictured was the meat patties and plantains. All were EXCELLENT. If we lived in Houston, this would be on our weekly dinner list. 20/10 recommend!“

“Golden Crust in Houston never disappoints! The jerk chicken is my personal favorite—perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat. My wife can’t get enough of their meat patties, and we both agree their mac n cheese is next-level comfort food. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the food is consistently flavorful and fresh. Definitely one of our go-to spots for Caribbean flavor in the city!“

“A small, quaint spot in a food hall that packs a punch. The biscuit was easily the highlight of the “Traditional Breakfast”. It was flaky and soft like the ones your grandma made. I would frequent this spot if I needed to get a nice bite that didn’t require me to sit in a full blown restaurant.“

“Oxtails Large Rice & Beans a hearty portion great taste, meat was so tender fell of the bone the jerk sauce, combination with the collard greens and rice were excellent the planteens was a nice touch. I would highly recommend you pay, a visit Bob Marley hanging out on the wall with some very chill tunes will be coming back.“

“Stopped here on the way north, looking for good food... & We found it 😋 The smoker in the parking lot was a great sign! And it carried through in the flavor of the Jerk Chicken, which is definitely spicy 🔥 The oxtails were DELICIOUS 🤤 And the curry goat was very good!“
“I love jerk palace I eat at this location everytime I visit Chicago. My father passed away so i decided to book them for catering for his repast services yesterday. I REGRET THAT SO MUCH I spent $1,090 THE CATERING FOOD WAS TERRRIBLE all of the chicken was burnt, rice wasn’t fully cooked and mac was super soupy… So that being said the food is good for a take out order but do not book them for catering they can’t handle it…. I even went in to complain in person n I was just told sorry while spending $118 more dollars on single meals. But I own a food business in mn and in this situation some kind of resolution should have been made a credit or something. That was nasty work!“

“As a Jamaican, from Jamaica. I can say the food is pretty good. I have read a few bad reviews but the truth is, your comments aren’t valid if you refer to it as ‘peas & rice’ it really isn’t as bad as described. I would definitely say give it a try and the prices and portion sizes are definitely a huge plus.“

“My family went for Sunday brunch. The food was great but was served warm not hot. Highly recommend the breakfast egg rolls. They were short staffed per hostess and we had to wait 15 to 20 minutes before anyone came to the table to greet and take drink orders. I will return perhaps during the week.“

“I've been to their physical location to get a soda once in awhile when I'm walking home from work I decided to get a pizza oh my f****** god it actually doesn't feel greasy it feels like there's texture and the flavor between each and individual ingredient and as a cook I can honestly say you guys just feta cheese amazing“
