I ate here when I stayed downtown Houston for a night going to the Rockets game.The food was top tier and great people that worked inside of the hotel. Parking can be hectic , but I love the experience.
We stayed here for a quick getaway over the July 4th weekend as we found a good deal last minute and I can say I’ll stay here again. PROS: • Great Location; 5 minutes drive from Galleria and surrounding restaurants and shops. 15-20 minutes from Downtown. Quick access to major highways. • Pet Friendly; there is a $75 fee per stay and you will need to sign a waiver • Newly renovated and rooms are clean. I stayed in this hotel in October last year, and decided to book it again. Experience is more or less the same: the room was nice, I had one with a separate seating area, that I could use to do some conference calls with my colleague. Same note as last time: you also have some kind of kitchen area that is in my opinion a waste of space. I would suggest to put a table here, there is no real working desk and that is annoying. Crossroad's Bar & Bistro is a hotel located in a great area, close to many shops and restaurants. The rooms are newly renovated, spacious, and clean, with hardwood floors and separate coffee station/bar areas. The bathrooms have deep walk-in showers. However, the hotel is still under construction on some floors and lacks coverage areas for pets. The rooms have seating areas and kitchenettes, but some feel the kitchen area is a waste of space. The breakfast setup is not convenient, and there is limited desk space in the rooms. The service and amenities are not up to standard for the price, with rooms not being cleaned promptly, limited drink options at the bar, and no assistance with baggage. Despite free parking and a good location, some guests feel it is not good value for money and would look for better options in the future.
