This lady was hand feeding her dog from her plate with a metal fork.
It was so disgusting and I asked the front desk lady about it. She said it's a service dog and it was allowed even if it was being fed like that. She called the owner/supervisor who verified. I asked for my money back, and they said no. Then they saw me take pictures of it (attached) and asked me to leave and never go back because I said I'd post it.
This is not the first time I've seen a dog here. The last time I was here, there was a very large full-grown Goldendoodle carried in here in a gigantic purse. I don't understand how this is acceptable. I love dogs but this is getting ridiculous and more to the point, very hazardous.

This was my first time at Dimassi's and I was disappointed. I came on a Saturday around 4pm and there were a few customers. A lot of their hot foods were more lukewarm and temperature and they only had one "made to order" item, lamb shank which definitely was tender and not too gamey with big portions, however was room temp and not hot. The "clean" cups at the cup station had food on them as well which made me concerned for the sanitation/cleaning at this place. The flavors of the food were decent but not mindblowing and $25 for the buffet was pretty steep considering the food they offered.

Greta food and always a good place to go with family. Of course this location is historic. Check out the Hakeem Olajuwon poster they have when you walk in. A lot of houstonians love this place and have for a long time.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a dimassis Mediterranean buffet restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience. the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming.
The buffet offered a wide variety of fresh and flavorful dishes. Every item was freshly made and served warm, which made a noticeable difference in taste and quality. The selection included everything from perfectly seasoned meats to fresh salads and delicious dips. The balance of flavors in each dish reflected delicious Mediterranean cuisine.
The sweet treats were not only beautifully presented but also tasted amazing. Nice drinks options. They also have coffee and black/green tea options for the guest.
Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who enjoys fresh, high-quality Mediterranean food in a welcoming atmosphere.
Dont forget to ask for lamb shank. They dont serv it with all the other options however they serv upon request.
Reasonable dining spot near NRG Stadium just south of downtown Houston. I don't know, but it did give "buffet vibes", the set and selection felt a bit limited. The dining area is set up in an odd location, my table was right by an exit door. The chair was practically in the way. Worth the fare for one person, and the quantity was impressive. Drink included - so a plus. But overall was mediocre.
