This was last Saturday we drove all the way to the area to try another Italian place and that was a failure, we jump into research and found this one and since the moment we arrive the service was great, make you feel welcome, I ask our waiter for something to drink that can boost my sugar level as I felt it was getting really low and no fountain drinks but they do have Mexican Coke, and some other bottle sodas including one of my favorite Blood orange, but I asked for a Lemonade...
Plans to eat at another pizza restaurant were foiled due to lack of reservations on our part so we opted to eat at Elro due to it's proximity to our rental. The entire staff was extremely inviting and knowledgeable of the menu (and gave advice on what to do in Houston). Despite Asian fusion restaurants being extremely prevalent, and in my opinion, somewhat trite, the menu items that we ordered (vegan caesar, burrata, guanciale pizza) we're well conceptualized and executed....

The scamorza and mushroom pizza lacked an element to cut the smoky flavors. The actual dough was legit and flavorful.
