“ACEF has been an Austin must go to restaurant since the 80’s. My daughter said that the lomito sandwich is best she has ever had;and she is a foodie. The beef empanadas taste and texture are closest to the ones prepared by my Argentine abuela. If you want to step into a true Argentinian restaurant, this is it! The service is consistently excellent. They also had great wines at reasonable prices.“

“This place looks nothing like you think it would, the outside is very deceitful. The ambiance was so chill and the details from the gold metal straws, the wallpaper, ceiling, and the velvet green and gold trim chairs were so beautiful and classy. It was my 1st time and I will return. Certain drinks are pricy though, but tasted great!“
“I’ve looked all over Houston and Austin since getting back from Bolivia in 2011 for salteñas and finally found them here. Takes me right back to the streets of Santa Cruz. The nicest people are inside. They sell hand rolled, homemade, chicken and beef frozen salteñas. They give you cooking directions. My only request is that you leave a few for me.“

“I am not a food critic, but when food is done right I have say something. The wings and tots were on point! The wings were made just right. I wish more establishments would take the time and energy to master the craft as Everything French Toast! The service was definitely 5 star. The portions were well worth the price.“
“Have been eating at this place for many years and it always takes me back to memories I have of Colombia. The food is good, I have ALWAYS ordered the Bandeja Paisa (small version), this time I was determined to order something different. Ordered the Picada [without the Morcilla (blood sausage)] and asked them to cook it so that the yuca was crunchy and the chorizo and chicharon was crispy as well. WOW it was a huge plate, enough to share; asked for a to go box for what I was not able to finish. Danielle our waiter was amaizing; always there when we needed something anticipating our needs. The only thing I would change are the TV screens, if I wanted to eat in front of a TV, I would do that at home. Maybe bring out the TV screens during the World Cup and other BIG games/sporting events, that would be my suggestion. Also, would like to have Uva (grape) Postobon. Will continue to frequent this establishment“

“I visit 5411 Empanadas multiple times a week when I'm walking through the tunnel and I absolutely love Jade's customer service, the creativeness of the food, and the atmosphere. My co-worker and I discovered this business some several months back, and we just can't help but to come back. The chimichurri sauce is amazing. Definitely give it a try if you want to try a unique treat!

“I stumbled upon this cute location while we were out running errands. We were warmly greeted as we observed the cleanliness, mouthwatering smell and the full display cases. After the associate told us a bit about the food, I purchased several to heat and eat later. The mushroom/onion & cheese was mouthwatering! We loved the tuna, spicy beef and brisket also, but found the spinach lacking in flavor. Overall I love the cozy feel, and plan to return later for empanadas, coffee and conversation! The only downside was some fillings were skimpy for the price.“
