The breakfast was always fresh. French toast was made as it should be. Not a quick dip but allowed To absorb the egg. It takes longer but it's real French toast. Bacon was excellent and the hash browns the best I had anywhere. Browned nicely and not greasy. I'm not really interested in how cool The place is but the quality of the offerings. Fountain view Cafe will be missed. Steve hope your retirement is enjoyed.
I was really disappointed this morning to lean that the Fountain View Cafe had closed. I have been going there for about 20 years. It was great. Excellent Old Fashioned breakfast and I enjoyed talking with Steve, the owner, about SEC sports as we are both alumina of SEC colleges. I was so sad to learn this closed! I only got to enjoy it for a few years, but I hear that there is a cook book in the works. I doubt it will ever be as good as the real thing though. If you ever want to open a new spot, Spring would love to have you!
