I order by phone and asked for fresh chicken !!! My order was NOT fresh at all the chicken was bland and it tasted like if it was just redipped to the oil way TOO dark . Beans are can beans, Mac and cheese not enough cheese, and taste is off . Service everything highly disappointed and pricey !!!!! not worth the price. Please avoid !!!.

A must visit when in Houston. The chicken is fresh not frozen and there is a difference! In addition to fresh and good food the service is exceptional. Thank you Alyssa for super service! You made believers out of these first timers. We will be back.
I was so excited to finally eat this chicken! I am beyond disappointed. Am I missing something? The chicken was a little bland, the baked beans and potato salad had no flavor. I was afraid to taste the collard greens after that. It was horribly displeasing. I am so upset because people rave on this place. Did I go on a bad day?
