Nice little dive bar with really good burgers. There was a live band playing and the Astros on the tube. Will definitely be back.

The food was good overall. The burger was very good. The tots were just ok. I loved that the onion rings were crisp and actually had snap to them. I didn't bite into it and end up pulling out the entire onion. They also had a pretty good taste.
The wings were piping hot when they came out and they were fried well. I thought they taste really good but others at the table with me thought they were bland.

This is a truly unique old-school hamburger joint that has been at this location since 1989 and is still owned and operated by Mr. and Mrs. Kim. They were both extremely nice, and the place itself feels like stepping into an old Texas icehouse or honky-tonk dive bar that has barely changed in decades. Being owned and completely ran by elderly Vietnamese people, including the cook was a little unexpected, but in a charming and memorable way, again very nice folks.
I ordered the double hamburger for $12.50, and my friend ordered the regular hamburger for around $10.50. Both burgers were good surely not the best burgers I have ever eaten, but certainly enjoyable. I asked for a glass of iced tea but the only nonalcoholic drinks available were canned drinks from a cooler, which fits the very no-frills atmosphere but also means no refills, so if ya just want another soda its another $2.50
The disappointment came when the bill arrived. We had two burgers, one order of onion rings, one order of tater tots and two canned drinks, and the total was $40 plus tip. I had no problem with the price of the burgers, but the onion rings and tater tots were about $6.50 each. That is simply too much for ordinary, made-from-frozen sides dropped into a fryer. At that price, I would expect homemade onion rings, a much larger portion or something beyond a standard frozen product.
I liked the owners, enjoyed the unusual old-school atmosphere and thought the burgers were good. However, the price of the sides was excessive and turned what should have been a reasonably priced burger meal into a $48.00 lunch for two.

This is a hole in the wall. That being said don't expect glitz and glamour. We ordered a cheeseburger with tater tots, egg rolls and the fried shrimp. The shrimp were unexpectedly fresh! Burger was good and tots were crispy.
Seen a lot of mixed reviews so I have to set the record straight. Forget the naysayers who dismiss this dive hamburger bar. Seems like the dissidents are reminiscing on a bygone time, this establishment run by the Kim family is the new staple. The latest escape from corporate burgers that lack the authenticity and price point. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, onion rings, and 2 Lone Stars for $20. In this hyper-inflated economy that's a deal. The burger was delicious, and that goes without saying. Convenient for those taking the train, it's right across the street from your exit. I think one thing people forget is that this is a dive bar. That sells burgers. So, they come in expecting, well I don't know, but I'm glad they have left and made space for us who love this place. My new haunt when I'm in town.

I had a great experience at the Harrisburg Country Club. Unpretentious, on the fringes of EADO, the very epitome of a classic dive bar serving up classic burgers. The owner shave been there 20+ years.

I loved this little spot! Definitely stuck in time, very vintage ๐ฅฐ. They have 2 pool tables and a shuffleboard. I'm unsure if he was the owner but the older gentleman behind the bar was very sweet and welcoming. Bacon cheeseburger was delicious, had a good flavor.

Delicious, reasonably priced burgers. There was a good selection of drinks to choose from as well. The place has a very laid-back homey feel to it. Plenty of fans going to keep you cool. Definitely will come back when we are looking for a good burger.

Erratic beer bucket prices. Some were charged $21, $25, and $30 in the same hour.
