I managed to exit from a podiatrist appointment at the Houston VA Hospital last week and decided a deli visit somewhere was in order. I did a Google search and found that the Houston's Famous Deli was only a mile or so away. I arrived a bit before 11 a.m. and so there was no crowd at all.
