I have been to Katz many times it was always good.I went today for lunch it was terrible, I ordered the klassic sandwich for 17.99,,was smaller than the skinny sandwich,,,he ordered onion rings to go along with it for 4.99,,I got 5 rings,,portion sizes so small ,prices on the rise,,then we paid with a credit card and they charged a credit card surcharge,,,so customers beware Katz’s has changed and not for the better.
I enjoy Katz's 99% of the time. July 4th 2023 around 4:30 pm. I was going to have a late lunch by myself, and was informed I needed to wait for a single table to be free. There were several open tables and this was unexpected and unacceptable. I have worked retail for over 50 years and MONEY, in the door is better than Money that may come in to your location. nice and clean.
service was slow and food was not great. Sorry but the eggs Benedict was like a couple hard boiled eggs-
the Turkey, ham and cheese omelette was lacking of any taste. Finally the they charges an 18% tip over my 20% tip because i had 5 adults and 1 -3 yr. old and did not bother to mention it.
