I was pleasantly surprised by this place! A friend recommended it and I was not disappointed. Super friendly staff, delicious food and drinks. The bread is fresh - crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and not chewy. Do not be scared away by the dirty parking lot or surrounding rundown shops. 😅
The hot Vietnamese coffee tasted like powdered packages instead of freshly dripped, very disappointing. The banh mi was good, crispy outside and soft inside. I had the Khang banh mi, it was good, and had different meat combo than any other places, crispy pork belly, shredded chicken, and Cha lua. My husband had the egg banh mi, he liked it.
This banh mi shop is everything. The sandwiches are unreal with crispy golden baguette perfectly seasoned meats fresh herbs and that tangy pickled crunch that brings the whole thing to life. And the pâté I am obsessed. I could eat one of these every single day and never get tired of it. The herbal artichoke drink caught me off guard in the best way. It is earthy a little sweet super refreshing and somehow makes the sandwich taste even better. I do not know how but it works.
