The pupusas and grilled cabbage at the MKT sunset market were A M A Z I N G! Loved getting to meet chef Evelyn and loving her contribution to the Houston foodie scene. Can’t wait to try more of her food and attend one of her tastings in the future!
I remember going to a few of chef Evelyn pop-ups in midtown and she hardly acknowledged us-hard working paying people. The first time I led it slide because she was probably busy. The second time I went to one of Houston farmers market and she was on her phone the whole time so she did not really smile or look up at us. I let it slide again because maybe she is very busy yet again to engage her paying customers. The last time was at Tenfold coffee, they had a pop-up with her and her associate from SALVAJE selling their products. I paid $30 for various different items, and once again she was sitting down with what seemed to be her bestie and not really acknowledge her paying customers. Instead her SALVAJE partner was engaging and very sweet. This time I tried to take the initiative and tried approaching her and she clearly saw me and turned around and walked away. I know she saw me, but I completely felt ignored by her. I don't understand what the issue was all those times and what makes her believe she can act like she is better than any of us. Without her customers she would not be able to travel and live her best life as she displays on her Instagram. All I was looking forward to meeting her and having some sort of exchange of words. I'm sure there is no doubt of her talent and hard work to be the owner of her establishment/company, but her customer service can use A LOT of improvement. Please be humble when around your customers who are trying to not only spend their hard earned money on your products, but also would like at least a smile and/or a "Hi, how are you doing?!" Small gestures go a long way and in all these events you missed the opportunity to be nice/courteous. I have never had a bad experience with any other small vendor at any other pop-up or small business, so please spare the excuses and just do better moving forward.
Delicious and amazing food. Thank you for giving back to the community in hard times. You truly are amazing humans and we appreciate you so much!
We got chicken dumpling from the central Co-op on 20th street. They are amazing!!!
Purchases the mango sticky rice ice cream from their vendor in the heights. Very disappointed. Rice parts were good but overall the ice cream itself was a huge disappointment.

Chef Evelyn catered our intimate home wedding in October 2020 and the food was absolutely delicious! We had 5 main dishes and a grazing board of amazing cheeses and crackers, fruits and nuts. The food itself was outstanding and visually stunning, and Evelyn and her helper stayed during the entire event, even cleaning the kitchen upon departure. Everyone said this was the best wedding food they'd ever had and my new husband and I have devoured all the leftovers already! I could not have been more pleased with the food and service we received from Chef Evelyn and I highly recommend her for all your catering needs!!

This is my number one must visit spot every time I swing by Rice Village. I love Evelyn's homemade teas & her togo meals are a life saver. Visit often because her selection of teas, sauces, and entree's are always rotating by what's in season & fresh. Great Thai food, the best service ever, with the freshest ingredients!
Chef Evelyn is the greatest chef in the world!! Omg those flavors!! Where do they even come from and how can she make them so perfectly sweet and spicy and rich and yummy all at the same time!??I tried her food one day at politan row (I'm a very picky eater and never adventurous) and I haven't been able to shake the incredible taste combinations!! Oh my word. There's nothing else quite like it and it's all sooooo delicious. I highly recommend the cucumber salad, roti wrap, and the curry. The seaweed rice is also so delicious (not the kind of rice you make at home) with the curry and pretty much anything else she comes up with is a YES for me. I like to order extra curry and save it for the next day because it lasts perfectly. Chef Evelyn-- Thank you so much for providing such amazing food and staying open during these tough times. To everyone else-- go get some of her amazing takeout!!! You won't regret it.

Sooooo good! The curry’s are to die for!
Had the Kare Kare, it was seriously amazing and the rice is flavorful. You might need to get an extra portion of rice! Smashed cucumber salad was also delicious
Amazing food. Located inside the Politan Row Food Hall. Loved the Curry, BBQ Brisket Roti, and the dumplings.
