This hidden gem offers a delightful atmosphere and exquisite sweets, pastries, and lunch items. Their bran muffins, croissants, and chicken friand were exceptionally fresh and delicious. The French market also offers an impressive selection of sauces and other delectable treats. I highly recommend visiting this place and I will definitely come back.

I visited La Madeline to inquire about a catering tray for my corporate event and wanted to pay in person since I had trouble with the website. The place was busy, but I'm a regular and prefer coming during quieter times. Despite the rush, Anna, an extremely efficient and multitasking employee, helped me understand the catering options without showing any frustration. She managed to handle multiple tasks and employees skillfully while also suggesting for my event, demonstrating her genuine care for the job. I hope her dedication is recognized, though the elderly manager at the front should work on being less disruptive, as her loud demeanor doesn't suit the establishment's atmosphere.

The food is ok but the managers are awful. That short Hispanic lady with the patchy grown out bottle blond hair is really rude, unprofessional, and irresponsible. I was ordering my side right next to her and she wasn’t even doing anything she was just standing there and I don’t know why if she wasn’t doing anything she wasn’t checking on the person who’s clearly new and when I went to send back my order that was wrong she called me a liar and basically said I was asking for it and to order the right thing next time. She didn’t even bother to check the receipt or actually take the time to understand what was going on she was just dismissive and didn’t care. The other short, beefy, male Hispanic manager with black hair is also very rude and unwilling to make accommodations for PAYING customers. There was a male Hispanic cashier with a buzz cut who knew they were out of a key ingredient in my order and decided to charge me anyway and bring it to me half done without letting me know they were out of said ingredient and when I went back to ask him he didn’t care and didn’t even offer an apology. Awful service idk why yall employ lazy rude people like that. I’m Hispanic and I was raised better than that: what a shame

The food is always good, atmosphere is amazing, people are usually kind. Today I had a pick up and was a bit sad that my coffee was only 75% full I don’t know if they ran out of an Ingredient, would be nice to have gotten something else if that was the case but overall love their cold pasta !

Every time I come to the Madeleine I am always super relaxed and help myself to a Croque Monsieur or a Chicken La Madeleine which are my to go to‘s. I respect the restaurant manager Santos for being hospitable and kind to me and everyone else who comes in. This place is one if my top 10 restaurants in Houston.
I came to La Madeleine to have breakfast and do some work while I was here. I ordered the Bacon Bon Bon Brioche Sandwich in a customized fashion to conform to my diet. I made the order and it was prepared to my liking in a short amount of time. The bacon was great and very tasty. The eggs were prepared to my order. This dish was well priced and enjoyable. I enjoyed my meal here as well as my time in this setting. The atmosphere was enjoyable and quiet which allowed me to concentrate on what i was working on. This was time well spent for me. I will be back in the future for sure. Thank you to the staff for the excellent service!

I've been going to La Madeleine for years, there's several locations but this one is by far the best. The reason has to be because of the management. One of the managers always makes it a point to speak to his customers asking them how their day is going, etc. very personable.
