Local Poke Reviews
The food was ok, but it was disturbing to see how dirty things were. You could see that the floors had not been swept in a while and the tables and countertops were visibly dirty. This would disturb me for any eating place, but especially for one with raw fish....

Local Poke is a restaurant that stands out with its unique steam punk vibe and artwork. It offers great value, allowing customers to choose four proteins for the price of what others charge for three. This restaurant is known for its spicy options, and the reviewer found it to be the spiciest poke place they had been to yet. The spice level is described as enjoyable and not overpowering. The restaurant offers a variety of unique ingredients, including spicy crab salad, jalapeños, octopus, and mushrooms. The brown rice base is noted for its soft texture. The bowls themselves are orange and white, making them stand out from the typical black or white bowls offered elsewhere. The reviewer found the fish to be fresh and the portion to be large, making it a great value. The staff is friendly and attentive, with excellent customer service. The portions are very generous, especially the large bowls, and the fish is flavorful and fresh. All sides and offerings are properly refrigerated and fresh. Notably, their tuna marinade contains macadamia nuts, which is important for those with allergies. The clean eating area lets in lots of natural light, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a meal. Overall, Local Poke is a highly recommended spot for those seeking high-quality, fresh, and filling poke bowls at a reasonable price.
