Family owned taqueria where you can get anything from breakfast tacos to machacado/dried beef by the lb. The chubby son is pretty handsome. Just saying.Parking: Not enough parking? Go around the block they have parking in rear of building. Cameras too just in case
This place is a hidden gem. Its the only place outside of Nuevo Leon where I have had good carne seca. The aporreado is the best dish on the menu, you won’t find it anywhere else in Houston. I drive from Sugarland to this place on weekends whenever I can.

Been going to this place since the 80s. They did not have a dine in thenI remember a small window you would knock and the owner would sell you the carne Seca. Last time I went was 2 years ago my mother loved going there for the coffee and the machacada a la mexicana and to just talk to one of the ladies there I believe the owners wife. We would go on Saturdays to try different breakfast but always got the same. Mom is gone now but she would say this is the best real Mexican food...read full review
