The food at this kitchen is delicious! The steamed buns are generously filled and taste amazing, and the stuffed pancakes are also incredibly tasty—though they're only available on Saturday mornings. The only downside is that I once found a piece of thread in a steamed bun. Other than that, everything else has been great.
Whenever I visit Houston Bellaire Blvd, I normally go to San Dong for pan-fried steam buns, but unfortunately, they ran out of them today, so I decided to try Lu Xiang Village instead. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of buns they had and how affordable they were. They offered three varieties of fried buns, and I got two of each at just $2.60 per bun.
