I lived in Puebla, Mexico, for almost 11 years. I must say, the mole is authentic. Everyone should try this restaurant and discover that there are other places in Houston where Mexican food is genuinely real.
I went to Maderas Kitchen & Cantina for brunch at 11 a.m., and it was an experience worth talking about. The food was absolutely delicious...every plate came out looking like a piece of art, and the portions were generous enough to leave us satisfied without being over the top.
The service was excellent from start to finish, attentive without feeling rushed, and the pricing was surprisingly moderate compared to many other Mexican restaurants in the area....

A friend took me to Madera's just over a week ago, and I've returned twice since then. What I've eaten so far is delicious...carne asada tacos, shrimp ceviche, and capirotada dessert. Can't forget the cocktails - they're awesome too.
