The pizza was exceptionally delicious and exceeded my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised by the authentic Italian flavor and ambiance, which made me feel as if I was dining in Italy itself. Overall, it was a highly enjoyable and memorable experience.

It’s my new favorite! The service is amazing! The chef always so friendly! Nic the owner is always there welcoming people! This restaurant offers authentic, homemade and fresh Italian food! The desserts are out of this world! On point! Truly living an Italian experience in Houston!

From wood oven pizza and roasted branzino, to fresh home made pasta. Everything on the menu at Magdalena is excellent, and it is absolutely one of our “fast casual” staples in Houston!

Magdalena's has become a favorite stop and recommendation in the short time it has been open. Chef Nicolas is ever present making sure everything is perfect and the wait and bar staff are all friendly and helpful. I have not had a bad experience with the food, but recommend the Branzino, The Osobuco, truffle pasta, and any of the pizzas. Wine pairings suggested by Nicolas are spot on and of excellent quality and value. Buon appetito!

The appetizers and the entrées were all excellent. The chef himself came by our table, many times to make recommendations and explain the food preparations. The waiter was very attentive and always made sure that we had anything we needed. We were originally headed toward a different restaurant, but saw Magdalena and thought giving it a try. We will be going back many times. It was just that fantastic. And… The prices were very reasonable, Especially for the quality of the food and the four of us having two bottles of tasty Italian wines and six cocktails. ????
My 2nd visit in two weeks, and my new favorite for Houston Italian food. Perfect for date night, or anytime you want to experience the luxury of good food. I recommend the grilled octopus, a Friday special. De Marco is still around, and we miss Tony Mandola. But Magdalena’s rules Space City Italian cuisine. Start with a glass of Sancerre, add a Pinot with the food and then wrap it up with a shot of Kahlua with your Americano. Then go home and bask in your victory at winning at Date Night, with your own Americana.

This place was a gem of a find. The attention, the details, the food. It’s a no miss game.
We just happened upon this place, thinking it was just a run of the mill pizzeria... Oh how we were wrong! The pizza, lobster ravioli, and spaghetti meatball we're all great!! Highly recommend all of them! Then we got the flourless chocolate cake, and it was amazing. And finally, the chef came to introduce himself, and since it was our first time, he brought out dark chocolate squares for the table. Overall, a great experience with great food!
