I've been a fan of this restaurant for over 30 years. If there's one in the city, where visiting, we go to eat there. We've eaten at this location several times before we have headed to the theater. Today, we discovered several things that have never happened here before. The menu changed, several items have been removed. The prices have gone up significantly, and the portion size has gone down significantly. The traditional Maggiano salad now has bacon instead of prosciutto and the Fixin's were all but nonexistent. The service was decent, the manicotti, which was a very popular dish is gone. The dessert was good and the drinks were fabulous. Overall, the food has taken a nose dive. Maybe they were just having a bad day. I would definitely not return to this location.

Always a very nice experience. The new menu item , Stuffed Pasta Shells are delicious. The sauce is to die for. The chef came by my table to ask how the dish was. He of course was delighted with my response. My server served me with a birthday acknowledgment, it included a CANDLE‼️🤪LOVED IT‼️ It had been a few years since was last there. Now I regret taking so long to return. Thanks to Maggiano's for helping to make my birthday week memorable.

We went there to celebrate birthday. The food was great and what we enjoyed the most was mushroom ravioli. We ordered mocktails but it came a little more sweet than regular. Overall it was a good experience.

This place was horrible. I gave my order. I asked for 4 bowls of spaghetti and meatballs. The clerk gave me three bowls. I got home and checked the bag, and there were only three bowls. I know l should have checked the bag before l left but l just trusted the clerk. I called and reported it and he practically called me a liar. I lived far away from the restaurant so l asked to speak to the manager. Instead of him talking to his people to verify it, he just said l will give your money back or come and get another one. I told him where l lived and there was no courtesy. I had to go all the way back to the restaurant and he could have done it over the phone. Though he apologized, l felt the manager could have made this right by verifying it with his staff and not have caused me to drive all the way back because l did not live in that city. Horrible place. I won't go back. No consideration for his customers. People are just not nice anymore.

Disappointing! It used to be one of our favorite restaurants but last night it was noisy, so much so that I could barely hear my wife across the table and neither of us could hear our server. The hot food came out cold and my Maggiano salad which I always loved was primarily onions and whole pieces of bacon rather than bacon bits - All in all a disappointing evening – doubt will go back. There are far better Italian restaurants in Houston where the ambience, Service and food is better and less expensive

Always secure a reservation!
We just had to wait 20mins after our scheduled reservation but they gave us complimentary appetizers for the wait.
Other than that the service from then on was fantastic and great food. They really have huge servings. The ambiance of the place was very intimate and makes the dining experience unique.
The whole experience of eating here was extremely disorganized. Came to eat here for Valentines and was told that it’s fully booked which was dumb because I just ended up making a reservation 10m after. We ended up waiting 30mins after checking in.. Once sat around 10:40, our table wasn’t properly laid out. Every table had a lit candle except ours and the floor under the table was wet. Our server didn’t attend us until 10m before closing and we told him we were ready which he replied, “Well that’s good since the kitchen is about to close.” Like he didn’t ignore us till the point of closing. We ended up ordering an appetizer and 2 pastas. When the server gave us bread I asked, “Are these the mozzarella sticks?”, he said no that it’s just bread. The pasta came out shortly afterwards, but still no appetizer. After we finished our pasta I asked him again, “When are the mozzarella sticks going to come out?” He then proceeded to make an excuse and say that he’ll check on the kitchen. This is literally 20 minutes already past closing time which we already knew he forgot. I ended up taking the mozzarella sticks to go. I was very dissatisfied with the service with this Maggiano’s. It felt as if we were doing things wrong when in reality they just made it complicated. We could’ve been sat without having to make a reservation, didn’t have to wait 30mins to be sat, our server didn’t attend to us up until 10mins before closing, our table was set up properly, and the food actually came out when ordered. Won’t be coming back to this location, but very bad experience for a special holiday.
