“We had our Team27HTX post-race party at Wakefield Crowbar this past Sunday (January 11), and it was such a great experience. They generously hosted our group, gave us the kids’ play area and a court to use, and provided plenty of space for a large, family-friendly crowd. There were tons of drink options, the food was easy and delicious for adults and kids, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. They also donated 20% of the proceeds from our group to the Heaven’s 27 Foundation, which was incredibly meaningful to us. Huge thanks to Dawn, Omid, and all of Wakefield Crowbar for their generosity and hospitality. Highly recommend for group events!“

“Super inclusive dive bar where you feel included. The drinks are affordable and strong. It's not fancy nor is it trying to be. It's dog friendly and the AC blows COLD. This place is a rare gem, especially for the price. Parking can be tricky but there's ample parking in the back. There's an amazing food truck across the street.“

“Now, to be honest...i was just out in the parking lot... The vehicle next to me was slowly dying because they left their head lights on...so, hopefully they came out before the car was fully dead... The parking lot was really clean... And i have been here before... It was a karaoke night... We had a blast... Drinking and rolling... With the songs...had a blast with a ton of friends that night.. now, as for this night in particular... This was the night that the Popeye's was closed. Which was so upsetting because their red beans and rice go hard!!! But...yeah. was in the parking lot because i had to wait on someone... To hand them their charger that they left . All in all... A really fun and entertaining place.

“I cannot rate the food because I have truthfully never eaten anything here. I can in fact say the place is always fun and friendly, whether it is the staff or the other guests. Definitely on the lowest cost end as far as pool and games are concerned, not to mention you can smoke because they are outside of Houston proper. Never had a bad visit here, the only time im ever disappointed is when I run out of money to drink or shoot pool haha.“

“Went there with some friends to grab a few drinks and I enjoyed the experience. This place has been temporarily closed due to the fact that they were selling alcoholic beverages without a permit. This place ended up Making the nightly news twice concerning their permits. if this place reopens I will visit but the city shut them down for 1year. The owner(s) should reopen and do it right.“

“I walked in and there was about five people there. I ordered the beer and then the most beautiful Hispanic woman sad next to me. And she didn't speak a little English. I didn't learn my Spanish. The beer was cold. The women were pretty what more do you want in a dive bar.“
