R Bar is the official Manchester United bar of Houston, and it's a great place to watch the Red Devils play. We went there recently to watch the pre-season fixture against Wrexham, and it was a great experience.The bar was busy, but it still had a good atmosphere. Everyone was there to support Manchester United, and there was a lot of excitement in the air. I visited the R Bar for the first time today. For a Sunday afternoon, clearly most folks were regulars and it was quiet with an ebb and flow of customers.It was a lovely place. The bar is a sports themed bar (lots of TV's) and there were all kinds of drinks available including a nice list of draft beers. The staff were also very friendly.I also found the women's restroom to be one of the nicest bar bathrooms I've been in in a long time.

Great, reliable, cheap local bar. Nothing fancy, but I don't want fancy on a Tuesday night! Come here for $5 drinks to enjoy a chat with friends! Sometimes they have food trucks nearby. Karaoke nights are usually not too crowded!
