Unfortunately, Julep did not have air condition and then Houston, Texas in August that is unacceptable. We were told when we checked in however we had already paid for transportation to the bar. Since I had a reservation, I should've been called and given the courtesy heads up. I have come to Julep many times and enjoyed it however this was not a good way to treat their customers, especially repeat ones. 
The baked Brie is amazing. Drinks are made perfectly. Valet. Old building given new life
Enjoyed speaking with our server at julep. Very pleasant young guy and walked us through the drink menu. Anna was the best at The Palor. Very knowledgeable mixologist and offered engaging conversations at the bar. The popcorn is a clever idea
