“The food was truly a wonderfully unique experience. As I’ve had the opportunity to eat a lot of different types and flavors of food over the years it becomes harder and harder to be wowed. And Nancy’s Hustle wowed me. The atmosphere was great unique music playing on an old real to real. The service was good but not exceptional…could have been that we ate there late.“
“Food is amazing. Staff on point, professional, sharp and attentive. Wonderful music, lovely atmosphere. We like it so much, had my wedding dinner celebration yesterday. We couldn’t have chosen a better place.Managers were accommodating and made us feel welcomed.Food is authentic and cocktails so tasty.Completely recommend!“
“I've been a couple of times to Oporto, and I've airways been satisfied. From the artful to the food, everything is amazing; staff is always friendly and attentive their drinks and food are amazing.Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: Staff is very attentive and accommodating to any dietary restrictionsParking: Parking can be a bit tricky if you're looking for free options. I'd recommend either parking in the back garage for a cheaper alternative or just paying the valet fee and be over with it.Wheelchair accessibility: Standard accessibility.“
“One of our fav places in Houston. Central to Montrose, the service, flavors, and atmosphere are always excellent. We love the flash fried cauliflower and various bruschetta. They have tons of vegetarian options, good drinks including a few non-alcoholic options for adults. The patio has always been comfortable, even when it's Houston-hot - I'm not sure if I've ever eaten inside in 12+ visits.“
“Sat on the patio on a Thursday evening. Service was good, although sometimes slow. We ordered a bottle of wine and food. The food all came out before the wine which was not ideal. The servers allowed us to sample a few wines before settling on a bottle which was nice. Charcuterie board was nothing special. I don’t think they go out of their way to find the highest quality meats. For dinner I had a half panini and half salad. Both were seasonal specials and were really good. The meatballs were decent. Monday and Tuesday board and bottle night for $25 is the best deal. Other than that it’s a happening patio but the food isn’t anything worth coming for.“
“Visiting from out of town and wasn’t sure what to expect but wow was I surprised!I stopped in and ordered the cookie stuffed croissant as a breakfast treat (to go) and this was one of the most decadent and delicious pastries I’ve ever eaten!!Due to how good the croissant was, I returned for dinner and our server was great with recommending a drink (Hanoi Hi Five) which was an explosive of flavors in every sip.As for the food: I had the burger with seasoned fries that I could not stop eating - sooo good! My dinner companion had the fried rice and really enjoyed it noting it was as spicier than expected but in a good way.The highlight (no pun intended) was the service. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and friendly. Can’t wait to return.“
“Sonoma Upper Kirby, is our favorite place to enjoy some excellent wines and excellent service. Taylor is our favorite sommelier! His knowledge and attention to detail is unmatched! The food is also delicious and the atmosphere is very inviting and relaxing. I would highly recommend stopping by for an elevated experience in the wine and food world! Make sure to ask for Taylor!“
“I'd rate this establishment at 4.5 stars, but I've rounded it up to five stars for this review. The cuisine exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was both pleasant and lively. Even with the restaurant bustling, partly due to a Selena tribute event, the service team remained prompt and observant. The garlic parmesan fries were irresistible—I couldn't stop eating them, even after they had cooled down. The cleanliness of the venue, coupled with enjoyable entertainment, made my visit worthwhile. Well done, Rich's.“
“Hands down the food is delicious and interesting. We had good service, no one came around too often, just right. Definitely try the dilly bread! The tots were tasty, and my group really enjoyed the carrots, olives, Charlie and the pasta factory, nonno’s pasta, and quite a few cocktails! Music is fun, good volume, lights are slightly dim, allowing easy conversation without having to speak loudly. Definitely recommend! Oh, and even if you’re full, you should try the olive oil cake!!Vegetarian options: There are certainly enough options for a vegetarian like meParking: Either in the small lot or on the street in a decent neighborhood.“
“Pay attention to the wine prices: you might assume that there is a price break for getting more at once, but often it is cheaper to get three 1 oz pours than a 3 oz pour. That being said, the ability to try a little of a large variety of wines is fantastic.Food was delicious, especially the potatoes. Service was fast and unobtrusive. Just expect to be leaving with your wallet a fair bit lighter.“
“Really cool spot for oysters! Came with some friends while visiting Houston. We didn't make a reservation but still got seated pretty quickly on a weekend. Highly recommend the oysters and the baked Brie. Got a few drinks as well, which were great. They have a full bar. At night, it's a pretty dark place with low light, so great for romantic getaways. It's a bit on the small side so is an intimate spot. A bit pricy, a great experience. Would definitely come again. Also offers free Valet parking out front!“
“This place is super cozy with both delicious food and delicious drinks. On some nights, they have a cute little band that plays while you enjoy the ambiance. Its a great place to meet up with friends you already have or to make new ones, and I make sure to stop by anytime I'm in town.“
“This is the best tasting menu in Houston. I've been here three times, and each time they knock it out of the park. Rich, interesting dishes in an approachable atmosphere. Don't let the surroundings fool you, this is a restaurant that would be worthy of a star if the French deemed us worthy of the attention of their little book. The food is the main attraction, but don't sleep on the wine pairings. Every pairing Ashley made worked perfectly with the dishes for each course.“
“I’ve had sushi all over the country and didn’t think there was a huge difference in freshness at the top places, until I ate here. I don’t know what they do, but it caught me off guard with how fresh it was. This was a random recommendation and I’ll likely be returning next time I’m in Houston!“
“Nice, vibrant atmosphere is what you feel at TravelersTable. We enjoyed the food a lot.- stuffed pão de quejo- Louisiana fried chicken- Country brisket & cornbread- bread puddingDrink- sunny place for shady peopleFood is so creative and delicious!!“
